Scripture Challenge - Perfect

As soon as I found out the Scripture word was "Perfect" I knew the verse I was doing. The Lord gave me 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 quite some time ago and they are very meaningful to me! I only used the first part of verse 9 on my page because that's all that would fit in my design! lol However, I will share both verses with you here.
They say:

But He said to me: "My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made PERFECT in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Wow! As someone who has lived with severe chronic migraines for most of my life, these verses have been a great help to me. You know how weak you feel when you hurt? How amazing is it that Christ's power is made PERFECT in our weakness!! That just takes my breath away! Paul goes on to say that he will boast about his weaknesses so that Christ's power will rest on him. BOAST about my WEAKNESSES? Yikes!! Actually tell people about the pain I suffer? But I've spent years trying to hide it from people? Now I am supposed to tell them...and even BOAST about it and expose my weakness to the world? I can do that because "when I am weak, then I am strong." Also, I have the promise that Christ's power is made PERFECT in my weakness! What could be better than that?! :o)

  1. Oh, that is just the perfect scripture for this. Just a gorgeous, gorgeous page. I am sorry you suffer with chronic migraines. I do too but have figured out most of my triggers. Yesterday we discovered we had a gas leak, and God protected us SO very much. But now I know why I have been having SO many more migraines with such tremendous nausea! May God relieve your pain and continue to give you His perfect peace. Blessings,

  3. I'm coming to know more and more people with migraines and fibromialgia. One of my daughter's suffers with the severe migraines also. How you guys manage to keep going through the pain I don't know. Your page for this one looks so joyous and almost celebratory. Your flowers are vibrant and sparkly. I love the way the glitter makes the flowers have more dimension. This is a beautiful page.
