Scripture Challenge - Priority

Did you know that the word "priority" isn't in the Bible? At least not in any version of the Bible that I have. So I thought it was an interesting choice for our Scripture Challenge. However, Patter has a great devotional all about cho0sing our priorities right HERE

Where is God in our list of priorities? Is He at the top of the list? The bottom? Does He even make the list? The truth of the matter is that if we put God first...if we make time for Him every day and live the life He has for us...there isn't anything we can't do! Philippians 4:13 says: "I can do ALL THINGS through Him who strengthens me!" In John 15:5b Jesus says: "apart from me you can do nothing!"

So for my page I chose the verse in Matthew. I added the Alleluia on the end because of the song, of course! I love to sing this song! Just to wrap things up today...guess what it says in Psalm 16:11? It says: "You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with JOY in your presence..." Now there's some motivation, right? :o)

This is wonderful Nancy! Your scripture pages always turn out so well. Thanks for the little reminder about priorities. I've actually been thinking a lot about that lately, especially with all the extra things I've been taking on. It's so easy to let God get lost in the shuffle. Thanks for helping me keep that thought in my mind. :)

Lovely artwork. I do like the bird stamp as I am rather partial to birds.
Great scripture as it is the same as the one I chose but a different Bible version.

Thank you for the reminder. In my life, it is necessary to be reminded of Who has first place in our lives. Although I try to daily be a blessing it can be a challenge.

I like coming to your blog and seeing your Scripture Challenges. Your take on the Bible verses is so refreshing. The way you apply them to your daily life and making them come alive blesses my heart. Thank you for that.

Love you - Leslie

Nancy I am so annoyed because my original comment has gone astray!! That seems to be happening a lot to my comments on blogs!
I love this card and I'd love to have such lovely handwriting. The pin is adorable and I keep promising myself that one day I will make some of these!
A beautiful page with a beautiful sentiment. TFS
Love and hugs
