52 Week Scrapbook Challenge - Ripped Up and Grungy

When I read this challenge to my husband he laughed and said, "You can't do that one, Nanc!" He actually is very supportive! Really, he is! lol Just because I want him to keep his yard, garden and garage mess out in the yard, garden and garage doesn't mean I can't create an artsy mess, right? Also, just because it's a "grungy" page doesn't mean it can't be happy and joyful page too, right? I just had to use these photos of my girls when they were little. This was back in the day when we just loved to sit and watch them make a BIG mess. We would sit and watch and laugh and laugh, and enjoy every single second of it! My girls always looked so healthy with their rosy pink cheeks! it was probably the staining from the Alphagetti or the rawness from scrubbing off the dried-on mess!! haha :o)

It's a wonder our kids still have any skin left on those little cheeks. LOL It is fun to be messy every once in a while, especially when it's in the name of art. LOL This is a fantastic layout nancy! Love the cardboard pieces and the way you used the paint. You did good girlie!

Adorable, absolutely adorable. I remember when my children were little like that too and the messy faces they had would make me laugh out loud.

Love this page. Your "grunge" is delightful, just as your babies faces. This is more whimsical grunge than down and dirty grunge :-) Love this page and what you've done to it. I especially like what you've done with acrylic paint and cheese cloth. Totally fantastic!
Love you - Leslie
