A Die For A Sketch - Challenge #6

Hello, my friends!
Today starts a new Sketch Challenge at A Die For A Sketch. I must confess that at first glance this sketch had me a little bit stumped! Then once I pulled out some papers it came together easily. Here's the sketch:

I used a combination of papers and dies. The black paper is actually the pre-embossed Core Impressions paper. Since I wanted solid black, I opted not to sand off the surface and reveal the core color. It has such a lovely texture to it. I used the sheer ribbon across most of the page as one of my strips. It was easy to fit the mini dress form die just where I wanted it on the decorative paper because it's so small. Then I drew from the rose design and added three matching roses in the corner. I added a few pearls and my card was complete! :o)

Materials Used:
Papers: Prima - Romantique 6X6 Paperpad,
Core Impressions - Graphic 45 - Timeless Collection;
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities - Curved Rectangles,
Grand Templates - Creative Book Pages Two,
Tim Holtz Alterations Movers & Shapers - Mini Sewing Room;
Ink: Stampin' Up - Calypso Coral;
Ribbon: Celebrate It - Sheer Creations;
Flowers: Recollections - Boutique Fleur Mulberry Paper Mini Roses;
Pearls: Stampin' Up - Jewels Basic Pearls.

 Pop on over to A Die For A Sketch HERE and take a look at what the rest of the Design Team has made!
 Then make a project, a card, a layout in any size, a gift bag, and link it up by December 4th!
The only rules are to use the sketch and a die...and have lots of fun!

I hope you all have a wonderful week full of JOY and laughter! :o)

What a wonderful take on the sketch. Love the embossed cardstock and cutting the dress form out of patterned paper makes it look so elegant.

What a lovely card! The black makes the dress form pop.

There's enough room on the card face for a sentiment. Fantastic idea for one of those cards you don't have earmarked for any particular greeting.

Love this sketch idea and your treatment of it is "Fabulous Darling" :D

Love you - Leslie
