Just An Extra Little Mini

Happy Saturday, my friends!

I have a really quick little post for you today!

Yesterday was one of those days when "life" was starting to feel heavy.
Crafty therapy was definitely in order!

I came across this fun paper bag mini album kit that I bought from my friend Sandra quite some time ago.

I turned up the good praise music and got to work.
Here is the result:

Materials Used:
Paper bag mini album kit from Sandra;

Ephemera's Vintage Garden - My Crafty Life - Part 1

Hello, my friends!

My goodness, it's been so quiet online this past week!
We must all be outside enjoying the fabulous summer weather! :o)

Today I have a fantastic new kit to share from Ephemera's Vintage Garden.
This kit is different than the past kits I've worked with.
This kit is found in the "Planner" section of the store.
It's called "My Crafty Life" and you can find it right HERE.

This is an incredible tool for those of us who need to start writing things down to keep track of our lives.
Also, it's wonderful for those of us who are on design teams, involved in swaps, or like to join challenges.

A few things about this project before we get into the photos.
I will be sharing this kit in three parts.
The planner pages measure 5 1/2" X 8 1/2".
In a future post, I will share about the binder I am using...and that you can use too.
If you have never used a printable kit before, or if you like to conserve ink, then this is the kit for you.
The entire kit prints with black ink.
Now...as you will see in my project...that doesn't mean that it has to be all black and white.
For those of us that like colour, we just need to choose choose any colour of paper!
The kit comes with video instructions on how to print the pages back-to-back.
I opted to print them single sided, giving me much more room for extra notes and such.

Here we go!

The first section of my planner is entitled "My Crafty Life."
I created a tabbed divider and added the name.
I fussy cut this beautiful wreath out of one of the pages.
Then I simply wrote a great Bible verse inside it.
This verse used to be on the top of my store website.
It's found in 1 Thessalonians 4:11, which says:

"...make it your ambition to lead a quiet life:
You should mind your own business and work with your hands."

Isn't that fabulous advice? :o)

On the left is a beautiful big pocket.
It would be ideal to hold receipts for all your crafty purchases.
If you really like to shop, you can print out as many pockets as you need! lol
To the page on the right, I added a cardstock pocket to hold some of the great list tags included.

Please take note of all the beautiful graphics and images on each page!

Love the quote on this one..."will work for craft supplies." lol

These pages would be so helpful for our DT work.
To the page on the right, I added one of the "today" list cards using a ribboned paper clip.

So pretty!

Since I printed these pages single-sided, the back of each is blank.
That gives me LOTS of room for extra notes and design ideas.
However, for this right-hand page, I opted to adhere it on three sides to the next page to come.
This creates a pocket for me to house all the gift receipts for the gifts listed on the page.

Again, so lovely!

On the left-hand side, I added a little corner pocket to hold some of the other fun tags.
The right side is the divider for the next section.
Hmmm...I wonder what it will be? ;o)

Materials Used:
Ephemera's Vintage Garden Printable Planner Kit - My Crafty Life;
Blue and black cardstock;
EK Success Punch;
Paper clip from Walmart;
WRMK Envelope Punch Board.

* * * * *
So there you have it!
The first section in my new planner.
You probably noticed that I have left it all blank for these photos.
I wanted you to see that it can be TOTALLY customized to whatever your needs are.
Pages can be added...or omitted...however you like!
Debbie has done a really incredible job of designing this planner!
I hope you'll come back to see Part 2, and all the goodness it holds!

Hello, friends!

It certainly made me laugh...and I've had a lot of fun with it since then! ;o)

I asked Wendy for a frog image and she very generously created this super fun one for me called "Hop To It"!

Sushi Dolls DT Card

Hello, my friends!

Today I have a fun new Sushi Doll to share with you!
This sweet image is "Gwen" and you can find it right HERE
along with all the other Sushi Dolls.

I coloured Gwen up and layered her on some cardstock.
I cut the pretty lacy die in half and positioned it behind the layered image.
I stamped and punched the sentiment, and layered it on matching cardstock.
I used two extra punches and cut them in half for the photo corners, then added some bling.

Finally, I filled the glasses with Glossy Accents!

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Image: Sushi Dolls - Gwen,
Prismacolor Pencils and OMS;
Die: Die Versions - "Spring Has Sprung";

Scripture Lessons and Lyrics #7 - How Deep the Father's Love For Us

Happy Monday, my friends!

I'm back today with my next Scriptrue Lessons and Lyrics pocket page.
It's another fabulous contemporary Christian song called "How Deep the Father's Love for Us."
The song is all about how God loves us SO much
that He sacrificed His own Son on the cross just to save us from our sins!
Now that is a DEEP love!

As always, I am using my Snap album and my Simon Says Stamp Card Kit.
This time I used the four pocket page. I took it out of the plastic for the photos.
Here is what the complete page looks like:

Now we'll take a closer look at each card.

I added the title of the song with my Dymo Label Buddy.
The fun framed piece was on one of the 6 X 6 pages.
I used a WRMK die to cut out the "LOVE" and the shape on the bottom.

Here is the Scripture verse I used, which I wrote rather crookedly! lol
The sweet little heart was cut from the paper,
and the arrow and banner were cut using more WRMK dies.

More fun with the dies and papers.
Isn't the sentiment strip perfect for talking about the Father's love for us?

Finally, I used more of the dies to create this fun card to hold the first verse of the song.

Materials Used:
Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - April;
WRMK Lifestyle Crafts Shape Pocket Scrap Dies;
Dymo Label Buddy.

This song was written by Stuart Townend, and I was going to post a video of him performing.
Then I came across this one by Owl City and decided to share it instead.
Enjoy! :o)

New All Dressed Up Challenge#17 - Use Your Favorite All Dressed Up Image

Hello, my friends!

It's new challenge time at All Dressed Up.
Our theme for this challenge is *Use Your Favorite All Dressed Up Image.*

Here is the card I created for this challenge.
I used the ADORABLE image called "Little Angel."
You can find it in the All Dressed Up Shop.

I just had to colour her up with red hair because of her sweet little freckles!
One of my girls had pretty freckles when she was little! :o)

I used a new frame die and did some layering.
Then I added one of my crocheted flowers, and a couple of purchased ones.

Here's a closer look at my crocheted flower.

It was more of a gold tone, and I just inked it up to better match the papers.

Materials Used:
Papers: First Edition - Boho Chic;
Image: All Dressed Up - Little Angel,
Prismacolor Pencils and OMS;
Die: Spellbinders - Classic Frame;
Punch: Martha Stewart - Rose Leaf;
Flowers: Recollections Boutique Fleur Muberry Mini Roses,
The Nickel Nook - Crocheted Flower.

He's as full of attitude as the woman was on my last Lia Stampz card!
I thought they would make a great pair! :o)

What else would a character like this be wearing but baggy grey sweats?
The sentiment was a wonderful freebie from Create With TLC.

Here's a close-up of the glossy accented glasses:
