New Release With Little Blue Button Stamps!

Hello, my friends!

I'm excited to share a New Release image from Little Blue Buttons Stamp.
This one is called "Some Coffee" and you'll find it HERE.
These girls have been very busy shopping, and have stopped for a coffee break

I opted to use this image to decorate a plain kraft gift bag.
Wouldn't it be lovely filled with some flavoured coffee and mugs?

I coloured the image, and matted it on yellow cardstock.
Some red rhinestones were added to the corners.
I placed a red doily behind it and adhered it to the bag.
The bag was stuffed with red tissue paper,
and I added a yellow and red ribbon bow.

Here's a closer look at the fun image:

Here's the sentiment I've added to the back of the bag:

Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Image: Little Blue Button Stamps - Some Coffee,
Spectrum Noir Markers;
Kraft Gift Bag;
WRMK Corner Chomper - Scallop;

ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday

Hello, my friends!

It's Friday, which means it's Sketch-y Friday at ScrapMuch?
and I have another layout to share with you! :o)

This is my last post as part of the ScrapMuch? DT.
My term is up and I have given notice.

Laura created another wonderful sketch.
Here it is:

I decided to try something a little bit different with my layout.
I've used only black and white, along with black and white photos.
It was fun to do!
The photos of my layout actually look like they're black and white photos, don't they?
They're not...they're full color!

For the treatment on the base page, I opted to use Frantage.
I think it looks really great!
Then the trick was to choose papers that would offer the right contrast and add texture.

I made the flowers using a combination of paper and cheese cloth.
The white of the cheese cloth was just right, and adds a lovely texture.
This photo also displays the Frantage very nicely.

Here's the other flower and the title:

Materials Used:
Papers: Momenta Cardstock;
Slice Design Card: Basics 3;
Die: Tim Holtz Alterations - Styled Labels,
Dear Lizzy - Flowers;
Frantage: Stampendous - Shabby White;
Brads: Recollections;
Cheese Cloth.

Thrifty Thursday with Scrapper's Delights

Happy Thursday, my friends!

Today is another post for the Thrifty Thursday Team at Scrapper's Delights!

Every other Thursday I will be sharing a project.
I will use a digi image that will be available, for a limited time, for only $1.
Hence the Thrifty Thursday name! ;o)

You'll find all the details right HERE.
You'll find the Thrifty Thursday Deals, along with others, right HERE.

For my card I used this sweet image called "Peaches"!
Again, the image comes with a couple of variations.

I cut the scalloped oval to make it look like a rug,
then added a teddy bear and ball die-cut.
I wanted it to look like she was playing on the floor.
Finally, I added the "welcome, baby" sentiment.
The inside of the card says..."so glad you're here".

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Image: Scrapper's Delights - Peaches,
Spectrum Noir Markers;
Sentiment Stamp: Stampin Up - Petite Pairs;
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black;
Dies: Spellbinders Shapeabilities - Play Time,

Life is Sweet - Cards and More Shop DT Project

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project made with products from the Cards and More Shop .
I have a "sweet" card to share with you today! ;o)

Yes, I used another fun template from Dutch Doobadoo.
This one is for a cupcake card, with the fold on the bottom.
Since I wanted to make a circle card, I cut off the card backing,
and adhered the cupcake base to my circle card base.
Have I mentioned how versatile these templates are?

Using the template, I traced and cut the base, and all the pieces.
I distressed all the edges with the distressing tool, as well as ink.
I stamped a sentiment on a banner, and positioned it above a ribbon bow.
Finally, I added a little Glossy Accents to the red cherry.

Here's a closer look at the shiny cherry on top!

These were the products used from the Cards and More Shop :

Dutch Doobadoo Card Art - Cupcake

Maja Design 6 X 6 Paper Pad - Life in the Country

Gopher-it! from Miss Daisy Stamps

Hello, my friends!

I have a new card to share with you today,
using an image from Miss Daisy Stamps.
This one is called "Gopher-it!" and you can find it HERE.

This card was sent to a woman who really enjoys playing golf.
To make the image more girly, I added a little red bow.
I fussy cut the hole, and it fit perfectly on the top of this hillside die.

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Image: Miss Daisy Stamps - Gopher-it!,
Spectrum Noir Markers;
Dies: Your Next Stamp - Grass, Hillside, Fancy Cheers;

Scrap N' Dipity Spotlight

Hello, my friends!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I have a card to share for Scrap N' Dipity.

I've created my April calendar page using this image called "Feelin Duckie" which you can find right HERE.

Isn't she FUN?
I made her a girl by putting a bow on her head.

I love her big rubber boots, and opted to colour them bright red.
Red boots make me happy!
Originally I was going to make a scene, with a puddle and all.
Instead, I opted to just make a pretty page!
I layered some punched borders, added some die-cuts, and some shiny yellow sequins.

Materials Used:
Papers: Crate Paper - Emma's Shoppe, Recollections - Cardstock;
Spectrum Noir Markers;
Dies: WRMK - Nesting Circles,
Spellbinders Shapeabilities - Gold Facets, Floral Doily Accents;
Punches: Martha Stewart - Arch Lattice, Swirling Lace;
Ink: Martha Stewart - Pink Dahlia;
Calendar: Maya Road;
Sequins: Dollarama;
Ribbon: Offray
