Rinea - Happiness Card in Partnership with Imagine

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new Rinea project share, using Rinea Foiled Paper!
This is another project created in partnership with Imagine.

Today I'm sharing a special card I created for an 84th Birthday celebration.
I used the gorgeous Princess Foiled Paper Variety Pack,
It was the perfect collection, as purple is the recipient's favorite color.

Here's my card:

I did some layered die-cutting.
The Glossy Lavender/Gold, and the Silver/Gold Glossy were perfect
with my dark purple cardstock card base.
Then I used Gothic Purple StazOn ink, from Imagine, to stamp both the sentiment and image.
It's the BEST ink for this smooth foiled surface.

Here's a closer look it at the clear crisp stamping:

Finally, I added a pretty bow!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: American Crafts - Cardstock;
Dies: Spellbinders - Majestic Labels Twenty-Five;
Ink: Imagine - StazOn - Gothic Purple;
Stamp: Stampin' Up - Happiness Shared;
Ribbon: Celebrate It.

New Fun From The Cherry On Top

Hello, my friends!

I've been having some fun with a really great digital Scrapbooking kit

and you can find it right HERE.

This kit is just full of fabulous fun!
So many wonderful papers and elements to play with.
As with all of these digital kits,
its perfect for your digital scrapbooking.
However, these kits are great for using the print and cut features
on your cutting machines.
Then the creative possibilities are endless!

I'll be sharing several projects with you,
and today is my first!

This was such a fun card to make!
Seriously...does't it look like that bird just flew in the window
and landed on my card?

He's fabulous!

All of the elements were printed and cut out.

Even the pretty blue bow is just a printed piece.

I added a little piece of twine through the printed button,
and then popped it up with foam tape.

I also added the stamped sentiment.
I thought it worked well with the design.
I'm imagining that my little bird friend is real!

Here's a final look at the finished card:

Other Materials Used:
Machine: Cricut Explore Air;
Stamp: Tim Holtz Sentiment;
Ink: Imagine -Memento London Fog;
Scrap of Twine.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this fun card!
I'll be back again soon with another fun project using this kit!

Clear Scraps - Pine Cone Christmas Card

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project share for Clear Scraps!

Today I'm sharing another Christmas card I made.
This time I'm featuring the 6" Pine Cone stencil.

This is another nice flat card that can easily be popped in the mail.
My card measures 5 1/2" square.
Here's my card:

I inked the stenciled image with Distress Oxide Inks.
Then I spritzed it all with water.
I love how that brings the ink to life!

Once it was all dry, I mounted it on to the card base.
I stamped the sentiment in the corner.

To add the Stickles, I held the card up vertically.
I then added it to the top spots, and let it drip, like melting snow would.

Here's a final look at the finished card:

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Kraft, Cardstock;
Inks: Distress Oxide Inks - Fired Brick, Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint;
Imagine - Memento Tuxedo Black;
Stamp: Red Lead Paperworks - Wishing You a Cozy Christmas;
Bling: Stickles - Icicle.

 Part 2 HERE
 Part 3 HERE,
 Part 4 HERE,
and Part 5 HERE.
Each post includes a card/cards, along with a card holder,
both available in the shop.
I think sets like these make fabulous gifts,
so this may help you get ready for the gift giving season well in advance.
They are also really great to keep and use for organizational purposes.
I hope to share a variety of styles, so as to appeal to all of your tastes! :o)

Today I am sharing my final post for this series.
I have finally run out of card holders...for now!
So for my final set, I've created a holiday themed set.

Part 6 Files:

Card:  Swing Card Set 1

Holder:  Greeting Card Organizer

We'll start with the card.
The Swing Card Set 1 comes with 3 different Swing Card designs.
They are A2 size when folded.
They're all a lot of fun!

I did some fun stamping on the center panel...

...that worked well with the decorative papers.
The back side has room to write a message,
and to sign.

Now we'll move on to the box.
It measures 7 1/4" wide x 5 1/4" tall x 2 1/2" deep.
It comes with a removable lid.

It has an optional label to add to the front.
I chose to include it, and added some fun stamping.

The cut file also includes file cards that fit perfectly into the box.
A perfect organizational aid for a card organization box!

Finally, here's a photo of the Card and Card Box together!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock, My Mind's Eye - Wonderful Winter;
Ink: Stampin' Up - Real Red, Old Olive, Distress Ink - Walnut Stain;
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp - Sending Happy Thoughts, Snow Much Thanks.

Isn't that a lovely way to store cards,
or a beautiful way to gift a set of cards?

Clear Scraps - Final Fall Mini Album

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project share for Clear Scraps!

Today I'm sharing another fun mini album!
For this one I used the Chipboard 6 x 6 Regular Album,
along with a 12 x 12 Acrylic Sheet.

For my album, I used 4 of the chipboard pages.
I cut 2 - 6 x 6 pages from the acrylic sheet,
as well as 2 - 6 x 5 pages.

Let's have a closer look:

The front cover is acrylic.
It holds the "Fall" title sticker, the enamel dots,
a rainbow file tab, and the bottom border.
I've also tied multiple ribbon bows onto the binding rings.

Here you can see the back of the acrylic,
and the first page.
This page is made of two decorative pages adhered together.
One is die-cut, with a fun sticker tucked in.

Here's a great spread to add photos.
The left side is the double-layered paper,
the right side is paper covered chipboard.

Here on the left side, I've inserted a tag under a band.
The right side is the shorter acrylic page.
This side is covered with paper, and a journaling tag.

The left side is the acrylic page.
The right is chipboard, with a tag tucked under the pumpkin band.

The left side is another tag tucked under a band.
The right side is the paper covering the shorter acrylic page.

The left side is the acrylic side of the page.
The woodgrain tag tucks in behind the "give thanks" square.
The right page is chipboard with a tag pocket.

On this side there is a large pocket with a tag booklet tucked in.
Then I've inserted an undercut journal spot.

I added some stickers to the back of it.
The right side is paper that's been added to the acrylic back cover.
The orange is a sticker border that's been added.

This is the acrylic back cover.
I've added paper strips on each side to cover the adhesive.
I've also added a matted journal spot.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my mini album!
I really love to make them, and I love to add acrylic to them!
Acrylic makes you think about where you're putting what,
and it's a great time to use double-sided papers!
I'll be back soon with another project share!

Whisker Graphics - Christmas Ideas with Bags, Tags, and Twine.

Hello, my friends!

I'm back to share a fun project created with products from the Whisker Graphics Shop!
I'm also over on the Whisker Graphics Blog today.
You're going to want to go over there and subscribe in the sidebar, if you haven't already done so.
That way you won't miss all the fun shares from the rest of the DT,
and all the fun ways you can use these great products!

* * * * *
 Today I want to share some fun ways to incorporate these products into your Christmas projects.

When I saw these sweet Little Bitty Bags they just shouted Christmas to me!
Don't they make you think of a gingerbread house.
They totally reminded me of one of my favorite Christmas paper pads.
That is what inspired the following creativity! :o)

I began by gathering some supplies together:

Then I pulled out the Christmas paper pad I mentioned.
It's the AC Merrymint Collection, and I'm down to just scraps.
I cut pieces that measured 2 1/4" x 3 3/4",
and adhered them to both sides of each tag.

Here's what the tags look like.
Aren't they festive?

Here's what they look like inserted into the Little Bitty Bags.
So cute!

At this point you could simply insert a ring through the tags,
tie a ribbon around the ring, and call it a mini tag book.
You could add photos to the tags, as well as the bags.
It would make a lovely gift.
Another gift idea would be to add a hand-written gift certificate to each tag.
"This is good for one shoveling of the sidewalk and driveway."
The possibilities are endless!

Now I'll share a few more ideas.
You could add some twine to the top of the tag.
Then wrap some more twine around the bag with a bow.
Simply adhere this onto a package, and add the recipients name on the tag.

Here I've punched a label, and added it to the outside of the bag.
I've written To: and From: on the tag.
A personalized message can be added on the tag inside,
and this can also be added to a wrapped package.
This would also be a lovely way to present a gift card.

Speaking of gift cards...why not put one on the tag
...inside the Little Bitty Bag...on the outside of a Christmas card?
Then you've got it all done in one!

Now, going back to my original idea.
You can add several strands of matching twine to the binding ring.
Then add one of the fun Sweet Sticky Labels to the front.
I added "Happy Holidays" in mine.
You could even put a sticker on each Little Bitty Bag if you wanted.

I hope I've given you some fun ideas!
There's so many great ways to use tags, and bags and twine!
