Maker's Movement - Hello Fall

 Hello, my friends!

I'm back to share a fun project for Maker's Movement

Today I'm sharing a card that features the Hello Fall Stamp Set.
You'll find it in the shop HERE.

Here's my card:

Isn't that fun and Fall-ish?
This stamp set includes 17 pieces!
Here, on my card, I have used one of the two sentiments,
and all of the leaves and branches.

I stamped all the images onto watercolor paper with embossing ink.
I had and unmarked bottle of embossing powder in my stash.
It looked like it would be copper or brown.
Instead it was this beautiful gold.

Once it was all heat embossed,
I colored it with my Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders.
I think this combination includes all the beautiful Fall colors!
Finally, I matted it, and adhered it to my card base!

Simply Crafty SVGs - Apple Gift Box and Card

 Hello, my friends!

Welcome to a new project share for Simply Crafty SVGs!

This month I'm sharing a fun gift box and card set.

I've used:

Apple Gift Box SVG File

I had intended to make this up in Fall themed papers
but discovered that I'm very short on those.
Shocking, I know! lol
So I used a fun school themed pack instead.

Here's the set:

Isn't that a great set?

This is another really fun project to put together!

It opens on the top and offers enough room for lots of goodies!
Why are my boxes always empty? ;o)

Once I had cut out all the apple layers,
for both the box and the card,
I had these fun little shapes left over from the centers.
I layered those ito a pretty little flower and added it to the top of the box.

I had so much fun putting the apple together,
that I decided I wanted to make a card.
It's so easy to do with these great files!

I grouped just the apple cuts together in Design Space.
Then I sized it to 10".
I did a copy/paste on the base apple and flipped it horizontally.
I positioned them side by side and welded them into a card.
I am by no means and expert in anything to do with Design Space,
as I really haven't spent much time playing around with files.
However, this was very quick and easy to do.

I really like this apple cut, and the layered leaf is fabulous too!
I used my Best Glue Ever with the No-Clog Writing Cap to put it all together.
It's just right for all the intricate bits.
The papers I used have special treatments of gloss and glitter,
so it makes a very pretty set!

Meg's Garden - Summer Garden Tag

   Hello, my friends!

I'm back with another fun project for Meg's Garden!

This time I've made a pretty tag, using items from the

Summer Garden Cut and Create Ephemera Papers.

The Summer Garden Collection is so pretty!

Here's my tag:

I began with a piece of green cardstock that measures 4 1/4" x 8 1/2".
I distressed the edges with a distressing tool
Then I went through the ephemera pages,
and fussy cut all the rose and pink pieces.
Then it was just a matter of playing and positioning them all.

Some bits were distressed with ink, or the distress tool, or both.
Some were adhered flat, and others were adhered with foam tape.
A couple of the corners were curled up and inked.
It all adds such lovely dimension to my tag.

To finish it all off, I added a few pink flower sequins,
and a pretty double looped sheer ribbon bow.

The strip in the photo below, that says:
"A LOVELY ROSE. ROMANCE."
is what inspired my tag.
I think it's a lovely assortment of bits!

Dies R Us - Girl in the Garden Card

  Happy Wednesday, my friends!

Today I'm sharinng my final Design Team project for Dies R Us!
Although I've really enjoyed sharing these projects with you the past few months,
I've decided not to stay for a second DT term.

I have to tell you that I had the BEST time putting this one together!

Here's my card:

Isn't that the sweetest image?
I used the "Tremendous Friend" stamp set from AALL & Create Stamps.
Unfortunately, this particular set has sold out since I made my card.
You'll find more sets just as cute as this one HERE.

I stamped the little girl and the butterflies, colored them, and fussy cut them out.

Then I went about creating the fun scene.

This is the sentiment that came with the stamp set.
It's stamped on the inside of the card.

Here's one last look at the finished card:

Thanks so much for stopping in today!
I hope you found some inspiration in my fun card!

Meg's Garden - Summer Garden Cards

  Hello, my friends!

Today I'm happy to be sharing my first DT projects for Meg's Garden!

I have created two cards with the gorgeous Summer Garden Collection.
This collection includes:

Summer Garden Papers,

and the Summer Garden Cut and Create Ephemera Papers.

Combined they include more than 16 pages of creative fun!
The possibilities are endless!

Here's my first card:

Isn't that a pretty combination?
I used Page 3 of the Summer Garden Papers,
It comes with the gorgeous gazebo on it.

Then I fussy cut that fabulous bench and added it to my scene.
We all need this bench in our collection!
It's one that I'll be using often.
I also fussy cut the "Love My Garden" and added it.
Both the bench and the sentiment are part of the

Of course I needed a sweet bird for my garden scene;
this one was fussy cut from one of the ephemera cards
I added him with a piece of foam tape.

Finally, I scattered just a few floral sequins on my card.
Isn't that gazebo fabulous?

Okay, now onto my second card:

As soon as I saw this gorgeous gate,
I knew I had to make a gateo-fold card!
This is a PNG file that is included in the Cut and Create Ephemera Papers.
I added it to Page 10 of the Summer Garden Papers before printing it out.
I made my gate-fold card base from brown cardstock,
and then cut the gate right down the center,
before adhering it to the card base.
Then I fussy cut the butterfly out, matted it,
and added it to the center of my gate.
One side of the butterfly is adhered in place,
while the other side has some repositionable adhesive.
It makes a wonderful closure!

I used more of the paper on the inside of the card.

I also added several of the Poppy images to the inside,
along with one of the pretty sentiments.
These are all found in the

Our garden is always FULL of poppies - just like this card!
They're one of my favorites! :o)

Vilda Stamps - Stamped Circle Cards

  Hello, my friends!

It's time to share a new project for Vilda Stamps!
Today I have two cards to show you.

I am featuring V850 and V693 Stamp Sets.

I had a fun play time with these stamps,
along with some Distress Oxide Inks.
Both cards are made exactly the same way,
and with the same colours,
yet they look entirely different!

Here are both of the cards:

I used the great distressed circle stamp from the V850 Stamp Set.
I stamped each ink colour randomly on the card base.
I dried each colour before moving on to the next.

The card below was stamped on black cardstock.
Isn't it soft and pretty?
It shows the distressed stamp off so nicely.
The sentiment is from the V693 Stamp Set.
I stamped it at an angle before adding it to the card front with foam tape.

The second card was done the same way,
only it was stamped on white cardstock.
What a difference!
It makes such a fun and festive card.
This sentiment is also from the V693 Stamp Set.

Dies R Us - Birthday Wishes Card

 Happy Wednesday, my friends!

It's time for another new project share for Dies R Us!

This week I'm sharing another CAS card,
using some fun dies from the shop!

Here's my card:

It's such a quick and easy card,
a nice flat one that is easy to mail.
I just thought it was a lovely combination of dies.
Who doesn't love to wish on a shooting star?

To make it special, I used Yellow Bazzill Bling cardstock
for the card base, as well as the die-cutting.

Here's a closer look at the glittery shooting star.

It was just a simple matter of cutting and gluing
but I think it makes a very special birthday card!

Maker's Movement - Wherever You Go...

 Hello, my friends!

I'm back today to share a fun project for Maker's Movement

Today I'm featuring the stamp set:

It's kind of funny that I'm working with this stamp set today.
We were just discussing maps with some people the other day.
Someone asked the question: "Who even uses an actual map these days?"
We chuckled because we actually found three of them in our glove compartment! lol

This was the inspiration for my card.
I wanted to create a map that resembled a well worn map;
like the kinds EVERYONE used to have! ;o)
It isn't my husband's favorite because he thought it looked messy!
Well, sometimes we just need to be messy, right?

Here's my card:

I stamped the map onto white copy paper.
You can match up the lines of this stamp and make a bigger map,
so that's what I did.
Then I tore around some of the edges, and crumpled it up a bit.
When it was the size I wanted, I folded it up.
I used the map fold, and then I undid it and refolded it again.
Then I rubbed and distressed it along the fold lines.
Finally, I adhered it to the card base,
leaving some of the puckers and crumples in place.

Originally I added just the "WHEREVER YOU GO I WILL FOLLOW" sentiment.
I thought it worked well with a worn out map.
Then I decided it seemed rather stalker-ish! lol
So I decided to add the "I MISS YOU" with the heart.
It's better, right? lol

This stamp set comes with a great variety of sentiments,
along with a few icons.
The map itself is so much fun to play with.
You'll be seeing me use it again in the future!

Vilda Stamps - Sweet Dreams

 Hello, my friends!

It's my time to share a new project for Vilda Stamps!

Today I have made a card featuring another stamp from the V837 Stamp Set.
You can find it in the shop HERE.

Here is my card:

I stamped the image onto watercolor paper,
and colored it with watercolor pencils and a water brush.
Then I fussy cut the image out before adhering it to the card base,
using foam tape.

I stamped out the sentiment and added that with foam tape too.
Finally, I added a pretty bow to the top of the card.
This is a new die, and I was anxious to use it.
It's so pretty with the lovely embossing,
which you can see a little better in the photo below.
