Hello, my friends!
I'm so happy to be sharing my first project as a Design Team member for Clear Scraps!
Some of you may remember that I worked with them years ago.
I'm so happy to be back!
For my first project, I have made a fun shaker element:
Shakers are so much fun, and there is an incredible variety in the shop HERE.
This particular shaker is going to sit on my desk as a reminder that "Life is Beautiful"!
However, there are lots of ways to use finished shakers:
on a card, on a layout, on the cover of a mini album or journal, as a little decorative hanging.
So many options!
Here's how I did it:
Clear Scraps - Mini Shaker Scallop Rectangle;
Chosen Image;
(I used: Image and Sentiment)
Walnut Stain Distress Ink (not shown);
Coordinating Acrylic Paint;
Paint Brush;
Assorted Filler.
I painted the front, back and all the edges.
I cut my image to fit, added the sentiment, and inked all the edges.
I adhered my image onto the back piece.
Then I adhered two of the framed layers on top.
At this point, I added all my little shaker bits.
I used a combination of sequins, beads, and tiny flowers.
Next, I removed the protective film from the acrylic layer, and adhered it in place.
Finally, I added the front frame piece.
I can't help but give it a shake every time I see it!
I'll be back soon with another project share.
In the meantime, head over to the shop and see which shaker element inspires you!
