Scripture Challenge - Serve
WOOHOO!! It's snowing outside!! It's the perfect day to spend indoors working on a Scripture Challenge page! Our word this time is "Serve" and that's a word that's loaded with goodness! I've even managed to fit three verses on my page this time around! The first verse tells us how we should each use the gifts we have been given to serve others. Okay...the first issue is figuring out what our gift is, right? Then once we've got that figured out...we need to find a way to put that gift to use...in the service of others. Now if we move on to the second verse on my page you'll see that it says we are supposed to serve "...as if you were serving the Lord, not men." That certainly changes things, doesn't it? If we're doing something for the Lord, don't we want to do it to the very best of our ability? Yet if we're not doing it for men, I also feel it relieves so much of the pressure! Man can be so critical of what we do and we tend to worry far too much about that criticism. However, God looks into our heart and sees our motivation. For Him we don't have to do it perfectly, all that matters to Him is that we are willing to try our best. Guess what? If we ask for His help...our best can be pretty amazing!! My third verse is just a wonderful verse! :o)

Snow!!?? Oh Nancy I hope you don't send it our way, I just hate snow and the thought of a long cold winter.
Love the colour of the base layout and the flourish type border, the charms work really well with this too; love the leaf charms under the flowers. A very good layout.
Do all your layouts go into the same album or have you got different albums?
Hugs
Lynn xx
Wow Lynn! Were you ever fast! lol My Scripture Challenge pages are all 6 X 6 I put them in page protectors and hang them on a wonderful wooden stand that my husband made me! They're on display in my living room! :o)
Wow, snow? Crazy! It will be 91 here today. :) And I love the border you put on this page. So very pretty! And your two scriptures are perfect. Just a wonderful page for your stand! Blessings,
I used to have that paper!!! That was purchased during one of my early "binges". It laid around for years until I gave it away to someone.
Love this page. The flowers you have grouped and the flor d' lis (how ever it is spelled!) are delightful on this page.
Your husband must have made you a sturdy stand for all your Scripture Pages :-) Chock full of bling, and embellishments. Okay, I want to see it!!!!
Love you Girlfriend
I love your layouts :-) this one just serves its purpose, its beautiful!
Snow!!! Do NOT send it my way hehe, mind you if I get snowed in and cant get to work, that means i'll get the day off and I can nip up to my workshop and craft all day... Second thoughts send it right over xx
Great scriptures and lovely colour choices.
We are coming into lovely warmer weather here in Australia - Spring weather which is my favourite time of year.
What a wonderful page. I am hoping to do mine this weekend. This makes me want to move forward on it.
I just love the color and how you designed the borders. Your message of how we can serve the Lord is so inspirational as is the page you have created. I can not wait to get started on mine.
Hugs, Sharon
