My friend Jonia does a lot of really fun posts for the Christian Paper Crafts Creative Blog, so I finally went over there and took a look! What a fun place! They had a "Fun on Friday" challenge that really worked with some new toys I wanted to play with. Can you believe I made ANOTHER card? lol The challenge was to use pairs on your project, and I used several of them. I used two colors - black and white, made a pair of flowers, used two special flower centers, punched two corners, stamped a pair of tiny leaves, and used two different kinds of pearls. You can find the CPC blog challenge info
HERE. I think I'll be playing with them again! :o)
Papers: Recollections;
Die: MM Slice Design Card - Noel;
Punches: Martha Stewart Wild Flowers Corner Punch,
EK Success - Retro Flower;
Bling: Kaiser Craft Pearls - Black,
Imaginisce Glam Rocks - Pearl;
Beaded Flower Centers - Gift from Joy;
Ink: Stampin' Up - Basic Black;
Stamp: Hero Arts - Everyday Sayings.

Oh, I knew it!! I've missed so much! There's no way I can catch up today--I was really hoping to get here in time to wish you a Happy Mother's Day!! You've been on my mind!! Will be in touch later in the week!
Love the black and white.....beautiful card!!!
Just thought that I would answer your question that you left me as well :), better late than never!!!....I used 12"x 5.5" cst and scored at 2", 4", 8" & 10", then you can make your cuts from the 2"-10" mark. You can vary the heights, I cut 1.5" from the top and bottom.
I love black and white, never seem to be able to pull off a good style though but you have achieved a very stylish b&w card Nancy complete with all the pairs!! Well done :)
Love and hugs
Lynn xx
I love working with black and white. It makes anything you do with it pretty. Love your pair card! You did a great job on it! I don't do so well with cards for some reason. I am gonna have to start challanging myself to make them so it can be easier for me to do.
BTW, thanks for stopping over at my blog. I am glad you have a good chance to be a part of my class Friday. It is 2-4 EST. I don't know what that is your time. Sorry about that. :o/ I look forward to seeing you there! I am hoping to put up a video in the morning before I go to work. Have a beautful day tomorrow Nancy!
God Bless!
