Hello, my friends! Just a quick post today! I thought I'd show you the card I made for my Mom for Mother's Day! It will be such a surprise because it actually got mailed off in plenty of time to arrive before next Sunday! That just never happens! lol My Mom has always really liked owls and used to have a lovely collection. When we were kids we used to buy them...and make them...for her on any and every occasion. It's been quite a while since I've presented her with a new one but I couldn't resist this sweet Sizzix Sizzlit! EnJOY the rest of your weekend! :o)
Papers: Recollection Cardstock;
Embossing: Sizzix Texture Plate;
Die: Sizzix Sizzlit - Owl;
Stamps & Ink: Stampin' Up;
Punch: Martha Stewart Corner Punch;
Bling: Unknown.

Oh...do you notice a few changes around here? With the problems with Shabby blogs the other day, I had to delete my entire blog design. So I threw this one together VERY quickly using Blogger.
It's not as pretty but I do like all the extra space it allows. It will do the job for now! :o)

He's precious! LOL I really like a lot of the owl stuff out and about in crafty land. They are a hot item. Bet mom will be more than happy to receive another hoot for her collection. :-) It's a shame you had to scrub your blog, especially since that problem occurred nine months ago. Don't know why it JUST started causing troubles for everyone. Have a wonderful week my friend!
I LOVE your owl, FABULOUS!!~
Wow, my mom collected owls too. I really love the leaves on this card. Great job, you mom will love it!

Another wow here Nancy and your Mom is going to love it. I have the owl punch also and need to use it more often. Thinking on using it for my almost 2 year old grandson's first birthday album. Yikes! Love the Card!!
And also love the new layout of your blog!
Can I say that I'm drooling over your mom's card?! I wish I was born in the early-mid 70's just to collect all those owls! All the owls that I have got were from antique stores! LOL! Anyway, love your card!
First of all I love the new layout on your blog Nancy - it looks so clean and uncluttered:)
Oh that is a gorgeous card, I bet your mum will be delighted with it. Just adore that owl, I am another owl lover although I go more for owl stamps and dies than knickknacks. At least with stamps and such there is no dusting :)
Love and hugs
Lynn xx
Love that cute owl on your card. Sorry if you got some spam emails from me. My email was hacked, lost everything and had to set up a new one. It's been a nightmare week.
