Hello, my dear strangers! lol I don't know how this month is slipping by so quickly, do you? I have to tell you that I have been very busy crafting...I just haven't had things to show you. So today I thought I better do something about that. I quickly put together my next...and second to last...52 Week Challenge page. Please keep in mind that I still have to back-track and do my Photo Montage page. So does that make this my second to second last page, or my third to last page? hehe
As for what else I've been working on...oh boy! I've been doing a huge re-organization of my craft room! It's truly one of my favorite things to do. It's also very time consuming and somehow my sewing room has also gotten involved this time! I've also been working on Kathy Orta's latest book project. I really do enjoy her projects and this one is SO MUCH FUN!! I'll be sharing that with you soon! I've got a couple of other things on the go too. Everything just takes me a long time...because I'm slow! :o)
Okay, on to this page. It was a simple challenge. I stamped on patterned paper. Then I kind of got carried away and stamped some more...and some more! This was the first photo I pulled out of the box, so I just went with it. It was 1991 and my girls were 3 and 4. They were just having one of their typical fun play times. We had this blue sectional and they would take off all the cushions and build a big cushion fort. Then pile all the Barbies and Barbie cases on top and inside and all around. Such sweet innocent faces, and such messy blonde curls! lol Just an ordinary day captured on film...I love it! Hope your weekend is full of JOY!! :o)

I know what you mean about being slow. I'm the same way when I make something unless I know exactly what I'm going to do. I love your page. What a moment to capture with your girls. This page is too cute for words....but I will say you have captured the essence of girly fun with the festival of flowers and bling.
Your girls, all grown up now, captured in a moment of innocence and make believe are delightful. Thanks for the reminder of my daughter and her playtime with her friends :D

Well I love all that fun stamping. It makes the perfect flowery background for those two little imps. Something tells me they just might share a bit of their mothers sense of fun. Can't wait to see your other projects. Hugs!
I love it Nancy and I love the photo. I just pull out photo books occasionally and just look at my girls when they were small. Now my sweet granddaughter's give me a look back at times when they act just like their mothers did!

Our grandson removes all the cushions and involves them into his various make believe scenes - those cushions become a house, a ramp, a castle, and, bizarely, a barbecue! Have't worked that out yet either :)
