Ice Fishing With Deedee's Digis!

Can you believe I'm back again already, friends?
This hasn't happened in a long time, has it?

I'm just doing an extra little post about a new-to-me blog.
It's called Deedee's Digis and the blog is HERE.
She's got a great shop that you can find HERE.
(I spent a good amount of time and money there!)

The image I used on my card today was actually a freebie.
It's a super cute set that comes with multiple images.
It's called "Ice Fishing" and you can read all the details HERE.

Here's another fun piece of information for you...
if you use this image and enter the challenge this month
...then next month you will receive another free image!
Isn't that fun?
I can't wait to see what it will be!

I don't understand why I haven't discovered this blog until now!
She has some really wonderful Scripture digis,
and you know how much I love to use the Scriptures on my projects!
I'd say that's a WOOHOO for all of us! :o)

Okay, onto my project.
I made a card! lol
I'm sorry but that just cracked me up! ;o)

I coloured the fun image with markers and put the card front together.
Then I added the double layered snowflakes, and Glossy Accented the water.

There you have it!

Here's the inside of the card.
I used a very appropriate image that was included in the set!

Materials Used:
Papers: HOTP - Christmas Creative Pack, Recollections - Cardstock;
Image: Deedee's Digis - Ice Fishing,
Spectrum Noir Markers;
Punch: Martha Stewart - Snowflake;
Glossy Accents;
Unknown Rhinestones.

So head on over to Deedee's Digis and check out the January Digi of the Month Challenge!

You'll be seeing lots more of Deedee's from me in the future! :o)

Beautiful card, Nancy! Wonderful coloring on the image, and those double-layered snowflakes really bring this winter scene to life. I'm so thankful that you found our shop, too! Thanks so much for the kind shout-out. :-) I hope that you'll keep up with our monthly challenges and that we'll get to see more of your lovely cards in the months to come.

Well thanks a lot Chukky egg. Now I'll have to go over there and judging by your amazing (and dead cute) card, spend a load of dosh too!
Off for a nosey!!

Thank you, my friend. I was scrolling through the blogs I follow and actually reading them and posting comments. When I came to your blog post I chuckled out loud. This is such a delightful image you have colored up and done your fussy cutting magic on. I love this! Your inside sentiment is really great as well.
Love you my friend - Leslie

This is so cute Nancy and I hadn't heard of that progressive challenge either so will go check it out. I do have some of her digis though but am going to go look for more... am always on the hunt for good ones.
This sentiment is so perfect for this image... I've been ice fishing (once and don't plan to go again) and I remember waiting, and waiting and waiting...
The snowflakes and blues really do make this a pretty wintery card!
