First Post for The Project Bin

Happy Friday, my friends!

Today I'm excited to be sharing my first project for The Project Bin

If you're not familiar with The Project Bin,
they specialize in wonderful sentiment stamps.
They're clear photopolymer and stamp as crisp as can be!
Each set has multiple stamps, and
"A Way With Words."

My card features one of the stamps from the Autumn's Calling Stamp Set

Most of you know that I really love the Autumn season!
I just had to get another Fall card in before Winter finally arrives.
Our Winter weather is very late this year!

I stamped the lovely sentiment on a piece of decorative paper,
cut it out, and matted it with kraft.
The card base is also out of kraft, with a lovely fall paper as the background.
I cut the beautiful decorative die from kraft, and inked it around the edges.
I adhered it to the card base with foam tape.

To add some more texture, I cut a piece of cheesecloth and frayed the edges.
I scrunched it into a ball and put it in a ziploc bag.
I spritzed into the back with both the Cranberry and the Sunset sprays,
and smooshed it all around.
Yes, that's the technical term for this technique! lol
I removed the cheesecloth from the bag and spread it out to dry.
Once dry, I adhered it on top of the decorative die.
Finally, I added the sentiment layer, again using foam tape.

Here's a closer look.
It's such a beautiful stamp!

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Autumn Paper Pad, Kraft Cardstock;
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities - Labels Twenty-One,
Decorative Curved Square;
Ink: CTMH - Cranberry, Distress Ink - Walnut Stain;
Sprays: Adirondack Color Wash - Cranberry, Sunset Orange;
Cheesecloth.
