Secret Revealed...and a Fun Customer Challenge Begins

Hello, my lovely friends!

I've been keeping a secret for months!
Actually, I don't think I've ever kept a secret this long! lol
I'm beyond thrilled to have been invited to the
Gecko Galz Design Team!

Those of you that are regulars to my blog
know that I love to work with printable bits and pieces.
Gecko Galz has an incredible selection of goodies!
I find them totally inspiring and I'm excited to share them with you! :o)

Also, Gecko Galz holds a Customer Challenge beginning the first of every month.
The December Challenge is "Tag You're It" and it's a very special one.
The design team will be sharing tags, made with products from Gecko Galz, throughout the entire month!
I have quite a few to share with you that I had the best time making! :o)

All the details and rules are listed over on the blog.
There are some great prizes to be won too! :o)

Today I have my first tag to share with you.
I began by creating my card base out of a teal cardstock.
On top of the tag I adhered the Snow Much Fun paper
I left the bottom right-hand corner free
to show off the lovely snowflake feature on the paper.
When I cut the paper out I left white edges on the top and bottom.
I punched those edges with a snowflake border punch.

The lovely Silent Night image came from the
I inked the edges and added some Diamond Stickles.
The image of the beautiful girl on the right is from the
Under my watermark is a snowflake corner punched,
with a teal cardstock snowflake adhered into it,
and a white snowflake on top.

The sweet angel image came from one of the icon sheets
I added more Diamond Stickles to her wings.
I added a pretty sheer bow to a Christmas sprig,
and adhered it beside the angel.

At the top of the tag, I adhered a punched snowflake, and punched a whole through it.
I added a white eyelet and threaded more sheer ribbon through it.
I added a drop of Diamond Stickles to the center of each snowflake.
Finally, I attached a fun light bulb embellishment using a garment pin.

So that is how I put my tag together! I hope you like it!

Such pretty images Nancy. The embellies are really cute. I haven't seen one of those pins the light bulb is hanging on in ages. Ahhh the good old scrapbook days. LOL Beautiful work my sweet friend.
