Flower Shaker Plant Poke for Clear Scraps

  Hello, my friends!

I'm back with another fun project share for Clear Scraps!
This time I have turned a flower shaker into a pretty plant poke.

I have used:

Here's my plant poke:

Here's how I made it:

This shaker element included 5 layers.
In the top of the photo you see one flower layer, and the acrylic layer.

On the bottom left is the back piece, with an additional flower layer on top.
I adhered a layer of white cardstock to the back piece.
I punched out a circle of yellow cardstock, and added that to the center of the white flower.
Then I adhered one flower layer on top of the back piece.

On the bottom right is one additional flower layer.
I painted this piece with some pretty pink acrylic paint.

I adhered the additional plain flower layer on top of the base.
This gave me three layers in total, leaving only the acrylic and the pink layer.
At this point, I filled all the little areas with my shaker filler.
I used a combination of beads, flowers, and microbeads for the petals.
The center was filled with a mix of glitters - ideal for a flower center.

At this point I removed the protective film from the back side of the acrylic.
I adhered it in place. Once it was dry, I removed the protective film from the front.
Finally, I adhered the pink layer on top, and set it aside to dry.

Once all the layers were dry and secure, I adhered a green dowel to the back of the flower.
Finally, I added a pretty double-looped bow to the dowel.

These shaker elements are so much fun to play with!
They're not just for cards, and have endless creative possibilities!
