Spring Cards for KCS Designs by Kim

    Hello, my friends!

So I had to make some more cards using them.

Junk Journal Inserts for Lavender Blu Journals

I have a fun new project share for Lavender Blu Journals!

 I'm working on a new journal.
It's got a wonderful combination of neutral pages and ephemera.
I've been working on some inserts that I'll be adding to the finished journal.
They all coordinate beautifully with the pages.

Aren't those fun? 
Each image has just a subtle hint of colour in them.
So all it needed was some simple layering,

and the addition of an appropriate sentiment.

My First Index Card for Bea Grob - Mixed Media and More

  Hello, my friends!

I'm really happy to be back on the Design Team at Bea Grob Mixed Media and More!

Bea has such unique and original products to work with!
I'm looking forward to sharing more of them with you.

Today I am using the newest digital paper collection.
It's the Cute Grunge Digital Collage Papers. 
I've also used the A5 Coral Whisper Stencil.

I actually combined these products to create my very first index card!

I know, I know...I'm very late to the index card party! ;o)

I now understand the attraction because this card was lots of fun to make!

As you can see...I have LOTS of room for more index cards,

Masculine Birthday Cards for Crafty Critta

 Hello, my friends! 

It's time for more fun foiled cards for Crafty Critta!

This time I have made used a number of products to make several masculine birthday cards.
It's always nice to have some of these cards onhand.

Here's a look at the products I used. All the links will be listed at the end.

After running the fabulous foil and toner art through my Your Best Mate Machine,
this is what I had:

Here's the first card I created:

This was recently given to an Uncle who was celebrating his 93rd birthday.

The first card was an A2 size.
This second card is very similar but A6 size.

Here's a better look at the shine of the foil:

This third card is also A2 in size.
It was created with the reverse foil of the first ones.

I've made three cards this time, and have more pieces left over to create more!

Pretty Printables to make Tags for Lavender Blu Journals

 Hello, my friends!

Today I am sharing my latest project for Lavender Blu Journals!
I'm on a fun tag making kick lately, so I have two more for you. 
These are created with some beautiful products from the
New Year Garden Flight Junk Journal Kit.

Tags are so fun because there are so many options for size, style and design. 
These two tags are one of my most common to make. 
I have some antique sewing machine drawers that fit them beautifully,
and I've been filling them up nicely over the years. 

Here are my tags:

I started with my cardstock tag base. 
Then I printed one journal page from the kit, and used it for the tag background.
I fussy cut some of the sweet elements, and adhered them in place.

I also decorated the back of my tags.
The pretty yellow background is another one of the journal pages. 
I used some of the ticket labels to create pockets,
and then filled them with more tags and fussy cut ephemera.

To finish everything off, I added twine and fibers to the tag tops.
I also went over all the flowers, birds and butterflies with my sparkle pen.
It doesn't show in the photos but everything has a beautiful shimmer.

Heartbreaker Society Tags for KCS Designs by Kim

   Hello, my friends!

Today I have some fun tags I created for KCS Designs by Kim!

These would make great Valentine's but they're also lovely for any occasion!

The fabulous images are from the Heartbreaker Society Clip Art Collection.
There are 26 lovely images included.

Here are my tags:

The tag shape itself is from the Build an Alpha Cut File in the shop.
I've used this file a lot already, and I really like this particular tag shape.

After layering everything up, and adding the ribbons and twine,
I simply added some matching black and red sequins.

There's still time to make some of these before tomorrow!

That's the joy of using digital products.
They're ready to use immediately!

I know I'll be using both of these collections again and again!

Hello Again with Crafty Critta

   Hello, my friends! 

 Today I have two more "Hello" cards for Crafty Critta!

Just like my space themed cards previously shared,
these cards are a two-for-one process.
 

First up:

I ran the Hello Sentiments through my Your Best Mate Foiling Machine, 
using the beautiful Toner Foil - Hearts Silver and the White Toner Sheet.

Then it was just a matter of cutting out the foiled pieces,
and adding them to the beautiful background paper.

 

My second card:

This "Hello" was created with the leftover from the first card. 
I ran it through my machine on one of the Ombre Multi Toner Sheets.
You can see that the foiled part is the reverse of the first card.

Again, I simply cut out the foiled sentiments,
and adhered them in place on the great background paper.

As always, foiling is fun and fabulous using Crafty Critta Products!

Today I'm sharing a variety of fun Valentine cards,
created with fun products from KCS Designs by Kim!

I've used the same files and the same design for all five cards.

The images are all from the My Surreal Valentine Journal Pages Kit.
These are full page designs but I simply fit four to a page for printing.
There are 20 super fun images in this collection.

The sentiments are all from the Word Snippets: Valentine's Day Kit.
This file includes 100 words and phrases.
There are even some blank ones to make your own.

Here I used the Baby Pink Toner Foil over the sentiment from Hello Sentiment Pack 2.

The Baby Pink Foil is one of my very favorites!

I must say that I LOVE this fabulous Crafty Critta Paper Pack!

The quality is fantastic and they are so beautiful!

My second card:

Here I've used the same Baby Pink Toner Foil over another sentiment from the same pack.
Isn't that paper gorgeous? It would work with so many of the toner foil colours.

Some Tag Fun for KCS Designs by Kimm

 Happy New Year, my friends!

I know I'm a little late to the party but I've had the flu ALL year! 
I'm finally feeling up to posting some projects that I finished ages ago. 

My first post of the year is some fun tags for KCS Designs by Kim!

These have a Winter/hot chocolate theme, which is most appropriate for us in Canada today. 
We reached -39 C this morning - with a windchill of -49 C.
It's the perfect day to stay in and enjoy a warm drink!

I printed and fussy cut two sweet girls from the Cozy Cocoa Cuties.

This is actually a free file from Kim's Ko-fi Shop.

The tag bases were created with the Design An Alpha Set from the shop, using my Cricut. 
I added a layer of coloured cardstock, and a sentiment from the Christmas Word Snippets.

Once everything was adhered in place, I added some fuzzy fibers to the tag top.
Finally, I added Glossy Accents to the eyes.
I think the extra shine adds a little bit of life to the sweet images.
