This sketch was lots of fun to play with.
Here it is:

Isn't that a great sketch?
 Do I say that every time? :o)

For this page, I used one of my daughter's engagement photos!
It's a favorite of mine!
It's hard to believe it was almost three years ago but they've been married for 2 1/2 years!

Here's a closer look at the bottom corner:

The sequins are all so pretty!
I just glued them down where they fell!

Materials Used:
Papers: Crate Paper - Random, Oh Darling;
Punch: McGill - File Tab Punch;
Dies: Spellbinders - Classic Hearts,
Shapeabilities - Jewel Alphabet;
Sequins: Dollarama

How About Some Paper Quilting?

Hello, my sweet friends!

Thank you so much for your kind congratulations on all my recent DT announcements!
With my busy schedule I will have much to share in the coming months.
I really appreciate your encouragement! :o)
(BTW...I will have one more final announcement soon!)

Today I have an extra project to share.
This card was made for a special woman who was celebrating her 80th birthday.
She is a very talented quilter, so when I saw this die at Your Next Stamp...
well...I just had to get it! :o)
I cut it twice, and then had the best time putting it all together.
To finish it off, I added the tiny buttons and the scissors.

Here's what I did on the inside:

Materials Used:
Papers: MME - Quilting Bee, Recollections: Cardstock;
Die: Your Next Stamp - Fun With Squares,
Spellbinders Shapeabilities - Sewing Elements;
Stamp: Papertrey Ink;
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black;
Brad and Buttons: My Stash.

I have amassed quite a collection of great dies and stamps from Your Next Stamp.
So you'll be seeing much more of their great products in upcoming projects.
In the meantime, head over to their shop and take a look
There's even a great sale going on now!

Have a great day! :o)

Miss Daisy Stamps - Thinking of You

Happy Monday, my friends!

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend!

I'm back today to share a card using a beautiful image from Miss Daisy Stamps.
This image is called "Angel Petals" and you can find it HERE.
I paired it with a the "Thinking of You" sentiment that you can find HERE.

I had coloured my image first, and then went through my paper stash.
This Prima Sparkling Spring collection matched beautifully.
When I saw the little bird on the one paper, I knew I wanted to include it.
It was very subtle, so I added a coat of Glossy Accents to help it stand out.

Materials Used:
Papers: Prima - Sparkling Spring, Recollections - Cardstock;
Image: Miss Daisy Stamps - Angel Petals,
Spectrum Noir Markers;
Sentiment: Miss Daisy Stamps - Thinking of You;
Die: Spellbinders Nestabilities - Marvelous Squares;
Punches: Stampin' Up - Oval, Scalloped Oval;
Stickles: Diamond;
Pearls: My Stash.

Cards and More DT - Paper Bag Pocket Card

 Hello, my friends!

I have a new Cards and More Shop DT project to share with you.
I have created a fun Winter Paper Bag Pocket Card!
It's a paper bag folded and decorated.
The pockets are filled with tags for all your messages.
It was lots of fun, and I'm sure I'll be making many more!

The wonderful sentiment strips, shown on the bottom of the photo above,
and along the bottom of the largest tag shown below,
are actually the back of the company strip.
Aren't they perfect?

Here you can see the large tag from the big pocket,
and the two smaller tags that fit in the front pocket.

Here is the back.
It's decorated with several fun winter die-cuts

This photo shows the back of all the tags.

Isn't it fun how all the papers and dies work well so well together.
Lots of winter sledding fun!

 This project was made using these wonderful products from the Cards and More Shop!

ScrapMuch? - Sketch-y Friday!

Hello, my friends!

Happy New Year to you all!
It's already a week into the new year, and I finally have my first post!

It's Friday, which means it's Sketch-y Friday at ScrapMuch?,
and I have another layout to share with you! :o)

Here's another fabulous sketch that Laura created:

Isn't it great?

I'm finding it so much fun to play with these old photos.
Here's another series where my Mom was trying to get a good shot of the girls in their little sailor outfits!
My Mom had a habit of taking pictures in the entrance, just when everyone was on their way out the door.
Don't you love the glare of the flash against the old paneling? lol
Andrea found the shoehorn much more interesting than smiling for the camera! ;o)

Materials Used:
Papers: American Crafts - Cardstock, Pink Paislee - Atlas,
My Mind's Eye - On the Bright Side, Simple Stories - Color Vibe;
Slice Design Card - Under the Sea;
Recollections: Enamel Dots.
