Ephemera's Vintage Garden - Follow Your Bliss #3

Hello, friends!

I didn't want to keep you waiting any longer to find out what's in the decorated box I showed you in my last post! :o) If you missed that post then just scroll down to see it.

This is what it looks like when the lid is removed:

This is what it looks like pulled out of the box:

It's a set of 6 notecards and 6 envelopes.
I made the envelopes out of good quality copy paper using my WRMK Envelope Punch Board.

I made each card the same way.
The card base is made from black cardstock and measures 5" square.
Each card front is a lovely image from the Follow Your Bliss Digital Journal Kit. You might recognize them from the mini album I made. The corners were already rounded on a few of the images so I rounded all of them, as well as the card bases. Here is a closeup of one of the cards:

This is half of them:

This is the other half:

Having the base of the card black makes it a little bit hard to write a note inside,
so I have added one of the great journaling spots from the kit to the inside of each card.
There were many to choose from, and I picked one that coordinated nicely with the front of the card.
They are pictured all together here:

You may have noticed this little goodie under the tied ribbon.
I used one of the kit petal pockets and turned it into an envelope pocket.
I punched out two "stamps", adhered them together and then stamped it with a postmark.
This would be the perfect spot to keep postage stamps for mailing the cards.

Since I'm completely out of postage stamps right now, look what I put in my little envelpe.
It's some of the lovely extras from the kit.
They can be added to the inside of the card, or even to the envelope.
Each bit coordinates beautifully!

Oh my friend I have been missing some awesome artwork you have done! I adore your box and note cards, they are fabulous. I just love the papers and how you highlight the best part of them. My life is hanging in limbo and exhausted from the emotional stress. No answers as to where I will live, sounds stupid but still in MN with very patient buyers. Just popped in to tell you how much I love your work.
Have a blessed Easter.
Hugs kelly
