Miss Daisy Stamps DT - Fly Free

Hello, my friends!

I have a new card to share with you today for Miss Daisy Stamps.

Before I share my card, I want to share some news with you.
This will be my last share for Miss Daisy Stamps.
Kathryne has made the very difficult decision to close both
Missy Daisy Stamps and Stamping Studio.
I've been a part of it from the beginning.
I want to give a BIG heartfelt THANK YOU to Kathryne for all the fun and friendship!
Of course the friendship will continue, even if the fun is coming to an end! :o)

Okay...onto my card...

Again this month I'm using an image from Mari Digis,
and paper from We Are 3.
It's always such a lovely combination of products!

This Mari Digi is called "Fly Free"
and you can find it HERE.

The pretty background paper is another one from the "Bird's View" collection from We Are 3,
which you can find HERE.

Isn't this image sweet?
I colored it up and then die-cut it out.
I love this pretty paper but there was no purple in it.
I just added some strips of purple ribbon
to pull out the purple I used in the image.

I really like the combination of flowers and wood on the paper.
It did most of my embellishing for me!
I just added simple bow, and a few pearls.

Here's a closer look at the image:

One last look at the finished card:

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Kraft Cardstock;
Die: CC Designs - Scalloped Oval;
Ribbon: Celebrate It;

Cards and More Shop - Once Upon A time

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project made with products from the Cards and More Shop .

This was such a fun card to make!
I sent it to my daughter who will be celebrating a special birthday!

I began with this super fun Dutch Doobadoo template.
There are so many creative things to do with this one!
I'll be using it again but this time I just cut several layers and stacked them up!

All the stamping was done using the Magical Stamp from Jane's Doodles.

Isn't that cute?
It's such a fun stamp set to play with!

Here's the left side.
I coloured it with my Spectrum Noir markers.
Then I added some Stickles to give it some sparkle.

Here's a closer look at the right side.
More colouring and more sparkle.
All the page edges were distressed.

I scored down the center of the pages.
Then I curled them slightly, and added foam tape in a few places,
to make them look like real book pages.

Here's one last look at my finished card:

These were the products used from the Cards and More Shop :

Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art - Book

Stickles - Icicle

Memento Ink - Tuxedo Black

Tutti Designs - Final with Fall Leaves Scroll

Hello, my friends!

It's Monday, and I'm back with a new Tutti Designs share!

This will be my final post for the Tutti Design Team.
I have made the decision to step down from the DT.
I would like to thank Tutti Design for having me,
and the rest of the girls on the DT for all the fun!
Most of all, I would like to give BIG thanks to Darlene!
She's the best!
I've truly appreciated her role as coordinator,
all her encouragement, and most of all...her friendship!

For my final card I am sharing a Fall die from the August Release.
This one is called "Fall Leaves Scroll" die.
You can find it HERE.

I began with a chocolate brown card base.
I added the beautiful leaf print on top.
Next came the Stitched Rectangle cut, again in chocolate brown.
Finally, I added the beautiful Fall Leaves Scroll cut.

The Stitched Rectangle was adhered with foam tape.

Here's a closer look at the wonderful detail of the cut:

I did add a simple multi-loop bow to the bottom of the stem.
Here's a final look at my final card:

Swedish House Crafts - Fall...the Most Beautiful Time of the Year!

Hello, my friends!

I'm back today with a new project for Swedish House Crafts!

Don't you just love Fall?
The colours, the smells, the food, the temperatures...it's all so wonderful!
After a couple of unusually hot weeks, Fall has finally arrived here in Saskatchewan!
If I look out into my back yard this is what I see:

Well...I don't actually have any ribbons in my back yard
...I'm referring to the apple tree, the leaves, and the colours! ;o)
This is the time of year when the apples are being picked and turned into apple sauce and apple pie
...and all kinds of yummy goodness!

Okay, that's enough about Fall...let's talk about my card.
I stamped this sweet Reprint image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
After colouring it with my Spectrum Noir markers, the image was quite bright, and rather Spring-like.
I inked over the entire image with Walnut Stain Distress Ink, to give it more of a Fall look.
Using the Maja Walking in the Forest Paper, and the Gummiapan Old Paper Dies, I cut some layers.
I inked all the edges, and then adhered everything together onto a white card base.
The first layer of green was added using foam tape to give it some extra dimension.
Then I added a pretty ribbon bow!

Here's a close-up look at the image.
Do you see those little leaves scattered around the base of the first background panel?
Those were made using the Gummiapan Flower Die.
I cut the middle sized flower out, and just trimmed the flower petals into leaves.
I inked the edges, curled them with my fingers, and glued them in place.
Aren't they lovely little leaves?

Here's an angle shot to show you the dimension of the layers and the leaves.

Here's one final look at my card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope wherever you live that you take some time to enjoy the beauty of Fall! See you again soon! :o)

Tutti Designs - Fall is in the Air

Hello, my friends!

It's Monday, and I'm back with a new Tutti Designs share!

This week I'm back to share another die from the August Release.
This is one of the gorgeous Fall dies.
It's called "Leaves Background" die.
You can find it right HERE.

A die like this makes it so easy to create a beautiful card!
I simply cut it out of my favorite Fall papers,
and backed it with a coordinating paper.
It's then been adhered to an A2 card base.

All I added was a pretty bow.

Here you can see some of the detail this die gives in the veins on the leaves:

A quick and easy card...but oh, so pretty!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Basic Grey - Indian Summer;
Ribbon: Celebrate It.
