Stained Glass Christmas Card for Emerald Creek Craft Supplies

 Hello, my friends!

I'm excited to be sharing my first DT project for Emerald Creek Craft Supplies
It's also my first Christmas card too!

This was such a fun card to make, using my favorite combination of products:
a pretty stamp, some gorgeous embossing powder, and rich creamy watercolour!

Here's my card:

I fell in love with this Stained Glass Stamp as soon as I saw it in the shop!
I stamped it on watercolour paper, using embossing ink.
Then I heat embossed the image, using the Quietfire Goth Black Modern Gilding Powder.

I then coloured the image, using the fabulous Kaleidoscope Watercolours.
There are so many wonderful colours in this line.
The ones I used are listed individually, below.

Here's a look at the pretty shine of the embossing powder.
I added a drop of Glossy Accents to the candle flames,
just to add another bit of sparkle.

Then it was just a matter of trimming out the design, and layering it up.
I used foam tape to add the top layers to the card base.
Finally, I added some fine black die-cut corners to fill in a bit of the white space.
