Scrapper's Delights Thrifty Thursday

Happy Thursday, my friends!

Today is my first official post for the Thrifty Thursday Team at Scrapper's Delights!

Every other Thursday, I will be sharing a project using one of a number of digi images that will be available to purchase for only $1.
Hence the Thrifty Thursday name! ;o)

You'll find all the details right HERE.
You'll find the thrifty Thursday Deals, along with others, right HERE.

I'm using this "sweet" image called Cupcake Honey.
Isn't she great?
I actually coloured her first and found the papers second.
I'm glad it worked out so well!
I did a bit of layering and embellishing, and it was done!
Oh, and I added glossy accents to her glasses, and stickles to the sprinkles.
Then it was done!

Here you can see her shiny glasses, and all the pretty sparkle

Materials Used:
Papers: Crate Paper - Oh, Darling, Recollections - Cardstock;
Image: Scrapper's Delights - Cupcake Honey,

Valentine Cards - Cards and More DT

Hello, my friends!

I've used some wonderful products from the Cards and More Shop
to create these two beautiful Valentine's Day cards.

I started with the one on the left.
After I was finished, I had the beautiful glittery heart die-cut left over.
So it inspired me to make the second card.

The lovely feather shows up so nicely against the red glitter!

Here, the pretty rose die-cut gives such a romantic feel!

Here are the items I used from the Cards and More Shop:

Ephemera's Vintage Garden - Mabel's Diary - Project #5

Happy Sunday, my friends!

I am back with my 5th, and final, project using Mabel's Diary from Ephemera's Vintage Garden.

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I thought this would make a lovely and appropriate gift.
This is the front of my project.
I used this fun polka dot paper, and added the fussy cut woman.
I cut out three of the hearts, placing one in her hand, and adding the other two.
I punched a number of other hearts, and scattered them about.
Finally I added some pretty red stickles.

The spine is 1/2".

Here's the back. It measures 5" X 7 1/2".
I added ribbon under the papers for a tie closure.

Here's the inside.
Now you can see that it's a folio full of cards and envelopes.
There are four cards and four envelopes tucked into each side.
I made envelopes using my WRMK Envelope Punch Board.

To make the cards, I chose eight of the most romantic looking pages.
I printed them, two per page, and cut them out.
I distressed them all with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
Then I cut the cardstock card slightly bigger to frame them.

Here are the other four.
The cards all measure 3 3/4" X 5".

Since the cards are black, I added a punched label to write the sentiment on.

There's still time to make one of these yourself,
to gift on Valentine's day!

Kitty Bee Designs - Spotlight Post

Happy Saturday, my friends!

Today is the first of my Kitty Bee Designs regular spotlight schedule.
I will be sharing a Kitty Bee project on the first Saturday of every month.
It will also be featured over on the Kitty Bee Designs Blog.

I've made a fun Valentine card using this super sweet Ladybug Bun image!
I made the sentiment to go with it.
There's a bit of a story about the sentiment.
I had come up with several options and couldn't decide which to use.
So I ran them all past my husband.
When he heard this one he said "Yes!"
I asked him if he was sure, and he said
"Yes...because you have to ASK! "
Really??? After 30 1/2 years I have to ask? haha
Guess this better be his Valentine card! ;o)

You can find it at my blog on the "freebies" page.

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock, Fancy Pants - Love Notes;
Image: Kitty Bee Designs - Ladybug Bun,
Spectrum Noir Markers;
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities - Curved Rectangles;

Hello, friends!

Welcome to my first mid-inspiration post for Kitty Bee Designs!

I used a flower punch to make my trees.
All the pretty embellishments came from Where Ideas Bloom.

Glory {Art 2016} Scripture Challenge #1 - Limitless

Hello, my friends!

I'm very happy to be participating in Patter's Scripture Challenge for another year.
It was so sad not finishing last year.
I got behind when my brothers got sick.
Then with everything that happened after...
well, I just couldn't get back on track.
Now I'm back at it and excited to see what God will be teaching us! :o)

Anyone is welcome to jump in and join us at any time.
There's a button in my sidebar that will take you to the info post.
Please check it out!

I had originally intended to continue with tags as my format this year.
However, after reading Patter's study, I was inspired to make my second art journal page.
I had another book just like the one I did my last page in.
I will dedicate this book to the Scripture Challenge.
I'm thinking that I may do a combination of tags and pages this year.

Patter shared a really great devotional.
You can see it at Patter's blog HERE.
She also shared a song that was new to me.
I've included some of the lyrics on my page.
These words really spoke to me!
How different life is when we live with limitless FAITH, HOPE and LOVE from our Heavenly Father!
With Him NOTHING is impossible! :o)

There's quite a bit going on here.
Please let me know if you have any questions about anything.

Here's a closer look at the song lyrics.

Here is a closer look at the Scripture verse.
Each heart holds something that God offers to us in LIMITLESS supply!
