Everyone seems to be familiar with the
GOLDEN RULE.
Whether you consider yourself to be "religious" or not, we're all very familiar with the concept of treating others as we would like to be treated. Did you know that it comes straight from the Bible? These instructions come straight from Jesus! For some reason it's an action that we often think of and put into practice more during the Christmas season when the spirit of "good will toward man" is more apparent. I would like to encourage each of us to do something kind for someone else right now in the middle of summer. Not only will you make them happy, but you'll also please God! How great is that! :o)

Oh Nancy, what an adorable page, I love the colors and the content. I finally posted my swirls. It's been busy around here. I'll post a new challenge this Sunday. Maybe I'll post a couple at once, just to finish with this challenge, I think I need to be done with it soon, how about you? :P
You couldn't have picked a more perfect stamp to convey your thought Nancy! Love the cheerful look of your page and you know what? You do something nice for me a LOT! Thanks for being my friend. :-)
This is so sweet and such a wonderful message. You've given me an idea to make a mini book with Biblical wisdom for little ones. I think it will make a wonderful baby gift.
Is this new blog decor? I really like the new blog banner, the message is perfect! Have a lovely day, my friend.
Love this, Nancy. We need to do more like that no matter what time of year it is. Awesome job. Hugs...
Nancy, awesome post!!! You are right in this. Easy as holding a door for someone, saying "Thank You" and "Please", always giving a smile to those you meet, and mostly telling your friends how great they are......Nancy, you are a great friend and I'm so thrilled to call you my friend. :-)
Have a great weekend, have fun crafting or spending time with your husband.
Love you - Leslie
Such simple lovely rules that we all need a gentle reminder to adhere to! Beautiful work as always Nancy! I haven't heard from you in awhile. I hope all is well!
Nancy, thank you for posting this reminder!
It is so easy to get caught up in things that we need to do...that we forget about the needs of others. Just a little note, or a phone call will brighten someone's day :-) It's definately the "little" things that matter most.
hugs, Lilly
Great reminder for everyone.....and it's so easy to be caught up in life and forget the little things that matter most!!! Love the layout and I can't remember the last time I used my pencils....I guess that happens when you get hooked on the Copics :)
A lovely layout Nancy. That stamp of the little girls is adorable.
I took a small posy of flowers to someone who was feeling a little down and was gratified with a huge smile. Feels good doesn't it?
Love and hugs
Lynn xx
OK so you have a stamp set that I have been wanting and don't have yet. It is actually marked in my book and now that I see this beautiful creation and the verse you have to go along with it, I know I will have to purchase on my next order.
Beautiful page!
Absolutely DELIGHTful! All our Scripture Challenge words seem to be useful ! The image is so sweet beautifully coloured in!!
