ScrapMuch? Sketch-y Friday

Happy Friday, friends!

Welcome to my first ScrapMuch? DT post! :o)

I'll be sharing two challenge sketches every month,
and the layouts I have created using the sketches.
There will be a very mixed bag of photos on these layouts
...everything from photos when my girls were little...
to photos of my fabulous summer adventure!
I do hope you'll enjoy them!

First, I'll show you the great sketch.
I have to tell you that I find Laura's sketches VERY inspiring!
Here it is:

Now, onto my layout.
I used a couple of photos of my girls when they were little, and oh, so sweet!
Yes, two of the photos are identical but I thought it was worth sharing twice!

Materials Used:
Papers: Jenni Bowlin - Bazzill Cardstock,
Classic Red/Black Paper Pad;
Slice Design Card: Basics 1;
Dies: Lawn Fawn Banner Die,
Tim Holtz Alterations - Alphanumeric;
Ink: Distress Ink - Walnut Stain;
DMC Embroidery Floss.

and link it up in the sidebar at ScrapMuch? before November 29th.
You'll find all the rules, and lots more great sketches, on the ScrapMuch? blog.

Nancy, what a beautiful page with those darling girls of yours. I've used the same picture twice on a page and I think it is a fun look. How nice to have this page to remember that moment and the fact that Grandma made the nighties is an added plus to have in your journeling. Have a fabulous weekend.

Love how you have put all this together, I had to look twice, as I thought the paper was the same design as their dresses, such a great match with the papers.
