A Die For A Sketch - Challenge #5

Hello, friends!
Can you believe that it's already the 5th of October? Yikes! Where is the time going? So, with the 5th day of the month comes a fun new Sketch Challenge over at A Die For A Sketch! Thank you again, to all of you who have linked up your lovely creations, and to those of you who are following our blog. There is more fun ahead! Here is the fabulous new sketch:

This time I made a Fall card! I had lots of fun colouring up this sweet Jellypark image that I won in a recent challenge  . I also used a new Tim Holtz die to cut out the leaves. This card really expresses the way I feel about the season! :o)

Materials Used:
Papers: Basic Grey - Indian Summer;
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities - Standard Circles (LG),
Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzlits Decorative Strip - Autumn Gatherings;
Stamp: Stampin' Up - Harvest Happiness;
Punch: Stampin' Up - Oval;
Ink: Stampin' Up - Basic Brown,
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain;
Digital Image: Jellypark - Jumping in Autumn Leaves;
(You can find Jellypark HERE)
Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits;
Unknown Brads.

 Pop on over to A Die For A Sketch HERE and take a look at what the rest of the Design Team has made!
 Then make a project; a card, a layout in any size, a gift bag, and link it up by November 4th!
The only rules are to use the sketch and a die...and have lots of fun! :o)

Happy Friday, my friends!

Remember my Birdhouse Layout that I posted recently? If you don't remember it you can scroll down and see it just a couple of posts below. Well, that entry won the Challenge #80 at Playing in Paradise! Not only did I receive a fabulous prize but I've also been invited to be their Guest Designer for Challenge #82 this week! How fun is that?
This week's challenge just happens to be a sketch, and you all know how much I enjoy a good sketch, right?
You can find all the details over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog HERE. Why not join in the fun?! :o)
Here is the sketch:

Here is my card. I opted to make a cream colored monochromatic card this time!

A Die For A Sketch - Challenge No 2

Hello, my friends! Can you believe a month has already passed since Challenge No 1 at A Die For A Sketch! A special thank you to all of you that linked up a project! Another thank you to everyone that just came by to take a look! We had a wonderful response for our very first round!

It was so interesting to see how many of the projects included colored images on them. Now, I know for a fact that some people do not like to color. I actually know someone who has an intense dislike for coloring. Yes, I know it's hard for some of us to understand but we will not judge them, will we? lol So it was with these people in mind that I created my card this month. There is no colored image on my card! So you see, even if you don't color you can join the fun at A Die For A Sketch. Remember the rules are simple; follow the sketch and use a die!

So here is the sketch for Challenge No 2:

Here is my card! I guess I must confess to a tiny bit of coloring. I used my Versamark pen to color some bits of the teacup. Then I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder so it would look like one of my special china teacups. I'm afraid it was difficult to get it to show properly in a photo. We've had such crazy storms around here the lighting has been interesting. The doily behind the teacup was misted with Ranger Perfect Pearl Mist so it shimmers beautifully. The pretty corners are an old Cuttlebug die. The wonderful sentiment that inspired this card is from my most recent card kit from Simon Says Stamp.

If you like to color...or not...I hope to see you join us this month for Challenge No 2! :o)

Papers: Prima - Romanitque Collection, Colorbok Cardstock;
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain;
Mist: Ranger Perfect Pearl Mist - interference red;
Dies: Provo Craft Cuttlebug Dies - Vintage,
MM Slice Design Card - Grandma's Attic;
Stamp: Simon Says Stamp - Absolutely Delightful Stamp Set;
Seam Binding, Pearls, Doily - From My Stash.
