Sushi Dolls #6

Welcome back!
I have a new Sushi Dolls DT project for you! This image is from Susi's latest Sushi Doll release. You can find  all the images HERE. You can find some wonderful projects using the Sushi Dolls HERE.
The image I used is called "Geeky", and I think she's adorable! I knew right away that I would be using these  Basic Grey papers for my card. The rows of books are just too perfect for it, aren't they? For the sentiment I fussy cut a banner so the word "Brilliant" would be featured. I added an embellishment of punched cogs and a brad. Here it is:

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock,.
Basic Grey - Oxford;
Image: Sushi Dolls - Geeky;
Prismacolor Pencils and OMS;
Ink: Distress Ink - Walnut Stain;
Punch: Stampin' Up - Double Cog'
Brad: My Stash..

I used a wonderful sketch from From the Heart:

Fab card Nancy and what a great image... love those big eyes! I always wonder what makes people buy certain things... like that background paper you've used. There's not many projects those shelves of books would work for but it's absolutely the most perfect piece for this, isn't it? Love the 'brilliant' way you used the glasses/formula piece of paper for the sentiment.

Love your card. The "Geeky" girl is just too cute and she goes perfectly with the paper. The Basic Grey Oxford collection is one of my favs!!! I have that book paper to use with pics of my son when he was a summer volunteer at the library. A boy "geeky" would be perfect on that layout. (a hint for Susi)
