Dies R Us - Birthday Wishes Card

 Happy Wednesday, my friends!

It's time for another new project share for Dies R Us!

 This week I'm sharing another CAS card,
using some fun dies from the shop!

Here's my card:

It's such a quick and easy card,
a nice flat one that is easy to mail.
I just thought it was a lovely combination of dies.
Who doesn't love to wish on a shooting star?

To make it special, I used Yellow Bazzill Bling cardstock
for the card base, as well as the die-cutting.

Here's a closer look at the glittery shooting star.

It was just a simple matter of cutting and gluing
but I think it makes a very special birthday card!

Sushi Dolls #6

Welcome back!
I have a new Sushi Dolls DT project for you! This image is from Susi's latest Sushi Doll release. You can find  all the images HERE. You can find some wonderful projects using the Sushi Dolls HERE.
The image I used is called "Geeky", and I think she's adorable! I knew right away that I would be using these  Basic Grey papers for my card. The rows of books are just too perfect for it, aren't they? For the sentiment I fussy cut a banner so the word "Brilliant" would be featured. I added an embellishment of punched cogs and a brad. Here it is:

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock,.
Basic Grey - Oxford;
Image: Sushi Dolls - Geeky;
Prismacolor Pencils and OMS;
Ink: Distress Ink - Walnut Stain;
Punch: Stampin' Up - Double Cog'
Brad: My Stash..

I used a wonderful sketch from From the Heart:

A Card...For Me? Creative Inspirations #3

*Before I begin my post today, I just want to let you all know that I have added an email notification in my sidebar. I never could have imagined anyone wanting my posts emailed to them! Thank you very much!

Good morning, my friends!
I'm having a birthday next week, so I thought I better get busy and make a card for my husband to buy FROM me to give TO me! lol For those of you that don't know, that's what my husband did for my Valentine's Day card. He really liked one I made and asked if he could buy it and give it to me! :o)
I made this card using the March Cut-Aparts page from Graphic 45 Place In Time Collection from the  Creative Inspirations Store. I'm not really counting it as a full Design Team project. It's more of a filler project until I post the bigger DT project I'm working on. I'll add links to the store in the materials list so you can take a look. Don't forget...with any $60 purchase from the store you get to choose a FREE gift!
With green and purple being one of my favorite color combinations, this page was lots of fun to play with. Here's a picture of it:

Here's my simple card:

It measures 5 X 7 inches. I added a tag on the inside so my husband can write some sweet words to me! lol I considered making a double pocket card so he had lots of room  to include gift cards and money...but decided I liked this size and layout better! :o)

Materials Used:
 Ribbon, Brad: From My Stash.

Sue's been loading her store up with fabulous new goodies, so it's really worth a visit! I'll be back with more soon! :o)

Happy Monday!

Hello, my friends! Happy Monday to you all! I have a new card to share with you today. I was excited about this card for two reasons. First of all, I finally had a chance to colour one of Pamela's fun images from Free Vintage Digital Stamps. You can find her blog HERE or look for her button in my sidebar. Secondly, I'm using one of the first Scripture rubber stamps that I've managed to purchase. I don't know why it's so hard to buy Scripture stamps! Either the shipping is too high, or the stamps themselves are too expensive! Why is that? I was so happy to find this set at one of my favorite Canadian shops...on sale! This one is from a Heartfelt Creations set called Trust in the Lord. This image of the little girl reading reminded me of my girls when they were little. They always loved to read, and carried their stacks of books around the house with them! lol The Scripture verse was always my prayer as a Mother...that I would follow the Lord's leading as I guided my girls! I wish you all much JOY this week! :o)

I Need A Little Help, Please...Oh, and a Card to Show You Too!

Happy Monday, my Friends! I have a masculine card to show you today. I'm debating whether or not to link this up to the Card Crafter's Circle Challenge. I would actually be ON TIME!! lol The challenge is "Feel Good With a Friend", and the cards that are on their right now are really girly for the most part. Sometimes we do have friends and relatives of the male variety that need a card "just because", right? :o)
Now, you may be wondering what kind of help I'm requiring from you today. I'm really excited about the next mini album I have decided to make! The only problem is...I just can't decide what to make it out of! Obviously I won't get a thing done until that decision is made! lol I don't know if you have noticed but I set up a little "Vote" in my sidebar. If you could please vote on your choice of what you'd like to see my next mini album made out of, I would really appreciate it! I thought it would be a fun way for you all to be involved...and for me not to have to decide! haha I do have the theme and colors picked out already, so I have done some of the work! Thanks so much for your assistance. I'll leave the vote open until Saturday because after that I have to get to work on it! Hope you all have a wonderful week! :o)

Just A Little Birthday Card!

Hello, again! My second post in two days! Can you tell I'm trying to make up for lost time? This is my entry for the Card Crafter's Circle Challenge #5 - Happy Birthday. You can find all the details HERE. I'm making it just under the wire for this one...but at least it's not too late this time! lol I made a simple gate-fold card. I did it rather quickly so I could pop it in the mail. The card will definitely be late! The recipients birthday is tomorrow and it will take almost a week to arrive! If you missed yesterdays post, please scroll down and take a peek. Maybe I can keep this going and be back tomorrow with another project! :o)
