Simply Crafty SVGs - Glitter Glue Holder

Hello, my sweet friends!

First, I want to give you all a very heartfelt THANK YOU
for your very sweet and supportive comments on my happy news post yesterday!
I sure do appreciate your kindness and encouragment!
BIG thanks to all of you! <3

Okay...onto more fun...

Welcome to my very first post as a member of the
Simply Crafty SVGs Design Team!

I'll be here to share a fabulous cut file with you each month.

This month I'm sharing the wonderful Glitter Glue Holder,
which you can find HERE.

This is such a fun and practical project,
and it came together so quick and easy!
Wouldn't it make a great gift for all your crafty friends?

You'll want to use a double-sided paper for the side and back pieces.

The file cuts the holes and slits, and includes the circle reinforcements.

All the pieces are there to give it a completely finished look.

It's even beautiful from the back!

Here it is all full! Isn't it fabulous?
I have enough liquid pearls to fill another one!

I hope you try one of your own.
You can customize it to match your crafty space,
and the price can't be beat!

See you next month with another fun project! :o)

Swedish House Crafts - Final Snowman of the Season

Hello, my friends!

Welcome to a new Swedish House Crafts post!

I'm here today with my final snowman share for the season. *sniff*sniff*
I love Winter and always hate to see it go!
(Not that it's actually going! We have months of Winter weather still ahead of us! lol)

Yet I also love Spring, and it's arrival is always wonderful to see!
So I'm happy to be moving on to Spring projects :o)

I wanted to keep my card colours soft and frosty.
I found that these papers from the Walking in the Forest Collection worked beautifully.
I just added some matching pale blue cardstock from my stash.

This sweet Tilda with Little Snowy is so adorable.
I coloured her up to match the papers.
I also added a bit of Stickles here and there.
She's all sold out in the shop right now
but Suha would be more than happy to order her in for you.
Just use the pre-order link listed below.

These Gummiapan Snowflake dies are a must have die!
They're such a beautiful size and they cut like a dream for such an intricate die.
I simply added a little rhinestone to the center.

The Gummiapan Snowman die was the perfect final addition.
I added a little strip of white paper to the back,
and then filled the holes with Stickles.
He makes such a lovely frosty friend!

Here's one final look at the whole card:

This was such a fun card to make! I hope you had fun looking at it!

Fun With FabScraps - Study Buddy's Pencil Tin

Hello, my friends!

I have a fun new FabScaps project to share with you today!
This is one I did a while ago but haven't shared here on my blog yet.
It's using the fun C98 Study Buddy's Collection.
As always with my FabScraps posts, I first have all the photos,
followed by the full tutorial.

STUDY BUDDY’S COLLECTION
Star Student Pencil Tin
Nancy Nickel
For this project you will need:
·        FabScraps Study Buddy’s Collection Paper Range C98 007, 008
·        FabScraps Study Buddy’s Collection Sticker Sheet ST98 001
·        Favorite Layered Labels Die (Spellbinders Nestabilities – Labels Eighteen)
·        Cardstock – White
·        Ribbon – Coordinating Colour
·        Scor Tape
·        Tin of Choice
Instructions:
1.     Measure height of tin between top and bottom rims. Cut C98 007 this measurement by full width of paper. Depending on the size of your tin, this may not be enough to go around. Cut a second piece to cover the remainder of the tin. Cut it from the same place on the second sheet of paper, and the pattern will line up around the entire tin. You can see how I pieced it by the photo of the back of my tin. Adhere paper to the tin using Scor Tape. This gives a smooth and strong hold.
2.     Cut labels from white cardstock. Apply “Star Student” sticker to one label, and “DON’T BE AFRAID TO BE GREAT!!” sticker to other label.
3.     Cut two lager labels from C98 008. Add white labels to the front of these labels.
4.     Adhere labels in place on the tin front, and the tin lid, as shown in photos.
5.     Wrap coordinating ribbon around rim of tin.
6.     Tie ribbon bow and add to corner of front label. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for looking! See you again soon!

***After a few technical difficulties the February Challenge has begun!***

I'm excited to be sharing my first post as a DT member of
You may have noticed the adorable badge in my sidebar!

It's a fun monthly challenge with simple rules.
Just follow the theme, and include a Magnolia product on your project.

The February Challenge is Valentine's Day!

My card is not made with traditional Valentine colours.
I recently purchased this fun digital collection and was anxious to play with it.

Here's my card:

Aren't those bright colors fun?
The papers, and all the embellishments, are from the printable kit.
I used the print and cut feature on my Cricut Explore Air.
Don't they look real?
Especially the ribbon, flowers, and crocheted leaves.

Here's a closer look:

As a finishing touch, I added a few little rhinestones over the printed ones.

Materials Used:
Papers and Embellishments: Meredith Cardall Printable Collection - Totally Huggable;
Machine: Cricut Explore Air;
Stamp: Magnolia - Tilda With Hearts;
Color: Spectrum Noir Markers;
Card Shape: Dutch Doobadoo Template;
Die: Gummiapan - Stitched Oval Dies;

Swedish House Crafts - Sweetheart

Hello, my friends!

I'm back today with another project
featuring this wonderful Gummiapan Goodie Bag Die from Swedish House Crafts!

Yesterday I shared a Valentine gift bag for him...today I am sharing a version for her!
Just a simple change of colours and elements, and it has a completely different look.

This time I created the bag from red cardstock.
Then I again decorated it using the gorgeous Pion Design - To My Valentine Collection.
Before assembling the bag,
I die-cut a heart from the center of one side using the Gummiapan heart die.
I then adhered a piece of paper behind the open heart,
ensuring that the pretty little roses were showcased.
I fussy cut the two doves from one of the papers and adhered them in place.
I added the bottom trim from the border sheet.
The "Sweetheart" was found on the word strip.
Finally, I added two pearls.

Here's a close-up look at the front side.

 Here's the other side.
I cut a square of paper, distressed it and adhered it to the box.
I added the same border trim across the bottom edge.
The beautiful butterflies were fussy cut from the element paper.
I adhered only the body and bent up the wings.
Finally, I added pearls to this side as well.

Here is a close-up look at this side of the box.

Thank you for stopping in today!
I'll be sharing more fun ways to decorate these great little gift bags in the coming weeks,
so I hope you'll watch for them!
