One of My Favorites in My New Traveler's Notebook

 Hello, my friends!

Today I have a fun new project for Kate Hadfield Designs,

I've used fabulous Tape Runner adhesive on all the fun doodles.

I've decided it would be lots of fun to fill the pages of a traveler's notebook
with all of my favorite things.
I'll be including music, books, tv shows, and much more!

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite tv shows.
Regardless of the teasing I have received,
I still watch this show almost every day.
This show ran from 1984 until 1996.

At this point I know what the characters are going to say before they say it! lol
Yet I still watch it...it's like spending time with an old friend.
My husband wonders why anyone would want to be Jessica's friend,
as so many of them die! ;o)

Here's my page:

It was this Snippets Alphabet that inspired this project.
Don't they look like letters cut out of magazines?
I thought the red slime, from You've Been Slimed,
was most suitable for the top of this page.
The background page came from the Weekend At Home Papers.

I used the great retractable Tape Runner to stick everything down.
It's fabulous to put in my traveler's notebook bag.
I especially love the retractable feature when I toss it in with everything else.
I went around two sides of each letter with a watercolor pencil,
and followed that up with my waterbrush.
It adds a nice shadow and gives the letters some extra dimension.

To finish off my fun page,
I added some pretty flowers from Art Joodles: Mixed Bag 3.
I think they help give the page a less "sinister" appearance! :o)

Love your pages Nancy ! I used like watching the show many years ago and when we went to Universal Studios there was a Cabots Cove set not sure if they actually filmed there though.
