The Cherry On Top - Bloom & Grow

Hello, my friends!

I've got some fun new projects to share for The Cherry On Top Designs.

 Today I'm sharing something a little bit different from the shop.
Instead of one of the fabulous digital kits,
I'm sharing a pretty cut file!
There are several fun cut files at The Cherry On Top Shop.
The come in png, svg, and Studio formats.

This cut is called Cuttable Flowers,
and you can find it HERE.

On my card, I used only one of the four cuts included in the file.

Here's my card:

I chose the "Bloom and Grow" for my card.
I cut it at 5" and adhered it to my 5 1/2" card base.

Then I simply added large coordinating pearls to the flower centers.

It could also be pretty to cut some additional flowers,
and layer them up.
Maybe next time!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: AC - Cardstock;
Bling: Crafts - Pearls;
Machine: Cricut Explore Air.

The Cherry On Top - Owl in a Frame?

Hello, my friends!

I've got some fun new projects to share for The Cherry On Top Designs.

Again, I'm using the Au Naturel Digital Scrapbooking Kit,
and you can find it right HERE.

This kit is just full of fabulous fun!
So many wonderful papers and elements to play with.
As with all of these digital kits,
its perfect for your digital scrapbooking.
However, these kits are great for using the print and cut features
on your cutting machines.
Then the creative possibilities are endless!

I've created another fun card.
Isn't this fun?
It's so hard to believe it's all just paper!

The background paper has such a wonderful texture in the print.
The frame looks like it's popped up and full of dimension,
yet it's been adhered flat to the page.

I used the print/cut feature on my Cricut Explore Air.
It cut out all the details of this fabulous owl charm.
I added a piece of black cardstock behind it,
so the busy paper didn't show through.

I curled the body slightly with my fingers
before adhering it to the card with foam tape.
I added black liquid pearls for his eyes.

This owl charm looks like it could be put on a chain,
and hung around a neck! lol
So cool!

New Fun From The Cherry On Top

Hello, my friends!

I've been having some fun with a really great digital Scrapbooking kit

and you can find it right HERE.

This kit is just full of fabulous fun!
So many wonderful papers and elements to play with.
As with all of these digital kits,
its perfect for your digital scrapbooking.
However, these kits are great for using the print and cut features
on your cutting machines.
Then the creative possibilities are endless!

I'll be sharing several projects with you,
and today is my first!

This was such a fun card to make!
Seriously...does't it look like that bird just flew in the window
and landed on my card?

He's fabulous!

All of the elements were printed and cut out.

Even the pretty blue bow is just a printed piece.

I added a little piece of twine through the printed button,
and then popped it up with foam tape.

I also added the stamped sentiment.
I thought it worked well with the design.
I'm imagining that my little bird friend is real!

Here's a final look at the finished card:

Other Materials Used:
Machine: Cricut Explore Air;
Stamp: Tim Holtz Sentiment;
Ink: Imagine -Memento London Fog;
Scrap of Twine.
