Tutti Designs - U R Special

Hello, my friends!

It's Monday, and I'm back with a new Tutti Designs share!

This week I am combining two dies.
First, I used the Stitched Nesting Banners Dies.
You can find these HERE.
Then I added the Special Word Set,
which you can find HERE.

I have to tell you that I really LOVE these fabulous dies!
They are so fun to work with!
The stitched dies cut so beautifully, and this set includes 7 dies.
The Word Set dies all come with two sizes of the word.
They cut perfectly every time!

It seems I've been on a real brown and pink kick lately.
It's just such a pretty combination.

For the "u r" I added some brown polka-dot chipboard letters.
They worked well with the colors and papers.
Then I just added a pretty pink bow.

Here's a closer look at the cuts.
It's such a pretty font!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Bo Bunny - Crazy Love;
Alpha: Bella Blvd - Ciao Chip - Amorie Brownie Alpha;
Ribbon: Celebrate It.

Gecko Galz February Feature Post

Hello, my friends!

Welcome to my Feature Post for Gecko Galz!

On the 4th of each month, I will be sharing a project made with wonderful Gecko Galz products.
It will be posted here, on my blog, as well as over at the Gecko Galz Blog.

This month I decided to continue with the Valentine theme.
I hope this will give you some fun ideas for your own Valentine!

First I made a pretty tag.
The background paper came from the Love Potion #9 Kit.
It's so pretty - with script and a beautiful rose down the left-hand side.
I began by cutting around the leaves of the rose, and curling them up, to add some dimension.
Then I went ahead with all my embellishing,
and now you can't even see the rose in the photo! lol
Oh, well! I still like the leaves curled the way they are!

Then I made a little gift bag.
This would be wonderful filled with treats of some kind!

Finally, I made a little pillow box.
It's another lovely way to surprise your Valentine with a treat!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Red and Kraft Cardstock;
Punches: EK Success - Retro Flower Punch, Arrow Border;
Ribbon: Offray, Celebrate It;
Ink: Distress Ink - Walnut Stain;
Dies: Tim Holtz Alterations - In the Bag, Pillow Box.

I stamped a sentiment in pink ink.
Finally, I added a big pink rhinestone.

There's lots of dimension on this card.

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
 Die: Spellbinders Nestabilities - Classic Hearts;
