Happy Monday to you all! I hope you're all having a beautiful day in your corner of the world! :o)
I've created this card for the latest challenge over at Twist of Faith Card Challenge. I'm running a bit late but I think I'll make it with a few hours to spare! Their Challenge #6 is appropriately named "For Every Season". During the last week we have experienced three seasons here: winter (you all heard about my snowfall), typical fall weather, and today we're back to a taste of summer! As soon as this is posted I'm heading outside to enjoy it!
I love the change of seasons! It's one of the best things about living in Canada. We have four distinct seasons and each one is special for a different reason. I have found that my favorite season has changed over the years. Is it the same for you?
For my card I picked this wonderful Scripture verse found in Ezekiel 34:26. The second half of the verse says:

For my card I picked this wonderful Scripture verse found in Ezekiel 34:26. The second half of the verse says:
"I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing."
I must say that I have truly been showered with blessings lately, so I just had to use this verse on my card. To go along with it I used this sweet image I purchased from Birdie Brown. Do you see that look of surprise on the face of both the frog and the little girl? That's how I feel about God's overwhelming goodness to me! lol Another reason that I really like this image is because when I was in kindergarten I had a little red cape with a hood that my Mom made for me. I loved that cape! Yes, all the kids called me Little Red Riding Hood and it didn't bother me a bit! I knew it was because they all wished they had a cape just like mine...even the boys! haha It was just that cool! ;o) It doesn't really show up in the picture but I put Glossy Accents on all the raindrops and created a puddle of it at the bottom of the card. I added the one little flower in her hair.
I hope that you are enjoying whatever season you find yourself in today! Just remember that there is JOY and beauty in every season of weather...and of life too! :o)

I usually only share music videos with my Hymn and Scripture Challenge posts. However, when I was working on my card this beautiful song came on. One line was "...what if Your blessings came through raindrops?..." It was just so appropriate to the season of my card that I had to share it with all of you!
Please listen to it and enjoy! :o)

Oh, I love the words in the song...I learned that there is always a gift in adversity...sometimes we might have to look harder than others, but it is there. I hope you had a wonderful day, my friend!

Sooo cute Nancy! Did you see the new BB releases today? That Torico is so talented. :-) Guess I'll just call you Little Red from now on. LOL Beautiful thought behind your card GF. Hugs!
This card is so adorable Nancy!
Love it!
Thanks for sharing a little bit of your life with us today.
This is so very sweet Nancy...the project and the post. We had drought here for the first time I can remember. People lost evergreens and lots of trees lost their leaves mid summer. I worried then that Fall would not be the same this year. Crazy, but it is one of the prettiest Falls I can remember...the trees are so beautiful!!! God is certainly good to give us blessings like this after a dreadful and depressing summer. So glad you shared today!
Hello my friend Nancy....what a great card...the image is so cute, i love it and the papers are very adorable...you have made a verry good job, a big compliment.

How cute this card front is. I'm so glad you shared the story of the "Red Cape" your Mom made for you :-)
Here in Oklahoma we have changes of seasons as well. Except our winters are totally unlike yours are. You get feet of snow and we get tree and electric line busting ice storms. In spring we get tornadoes, too. I guess there is not a perfect place to live except where you are.
Hope you did get out to enjoy your warm weather before the snow comes.
Love you - Leslie
Cute, cute card Nancy!! Love it!
Oh my word Nancy snow already??? Oh please don't send it here :) Great to be all cosy in your craft room though.
Such astonished looks on the little girl and frog, they just make you smile :) Love the card.
