ScraPerfect - February Calendar

Hello, my friends!

Today I'm back with a new project for ScraPerfect

It's my next Calendar page.
Again, I'm using the Memory Dex format.
Thanks so much for your great response to my January card!

Here's February:

I began with a black cardstock memory dex card.
I added a piece of Valentine themed paper.
I then cut the "February" out using my Cricut Explore Air.
It's such an intricate design.
It was easy to glue in place,
using the Best Glue Ever with the No-Clog Writing Cap.
However, before adhering the month to the card,
I had to sparkle it up a bit.
I did that by adding Best Glue Ever over several of the little hearts.
I then sprinkled various glitters over the glue.
The glue grabs the glitter very well.
I set it aside to dry, and then added the month.

Here's the back of the card.
I added some more Valentine themed paper,
as well as my February calendar.
Of course, I also had to add more sparkle to this side,
using the same process.

The No-Clog Writing Cap allows you to add small,
detailed amounts of glue, wherever you want!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock, Fancy Pants - Love Note;
Glitters: Glitter Galore - Fire Engine Red, Diamond Dust;

Glittery Love Valentine Card

Hello, my friends!

Today I have another combination DT post.
I've combined products from Southern Ridge Trading Company,
with products from ScraPerfect,
to create a Glittery Love Valentine card.

These products really are an ideal combination!

Here's my sparkly card:

Here's what I used to make it:

First I cut the background paper and adhered it to the front of the A2 Card Base.
Then I glued the pink paper to the front of the chipboard tag.
I trimmed around it with my blade, and then inked all the edges.
I looped some red glittery ribbon through the top of the tag,
and then added a ribbon bow.
I added the Best Glue Ever to the front of the "Love" and two chipboard hearts.
The No-Clog Writing Cap really helps with adding glue neatly to the lettering.
While the glue was still wet, I sprinkled the red glitter liberally over top.

Once the glue was all dry, I adhered the chipboard tag and hearts in place on the card base.

Here's a close-up look at the "love"-ly word!
You may also notice that there's random glitter .
I forgot to brush off all the loose glitter once it was dry...oops!
I did that after the photos were taken.
Then I used the Perfect Cleaning Cloth to clean up all the glittery mess! lol

It's such a pretty combination of products!

ScraPerfect - January Calendar

Hello, my friends!

Today I'm back with a new project for ScraPerfect
My first ScraPerfect post of the month has typically been my calendar page.
I thought I would continue that in this new year,
although I am changing the format.

I missed the Memory Dex trend the last time it was hot.
It's a trend that has come back full force,
and I'm totally embracing it!
I'll be using it for my 2020 Calendar Pages.

With this format I get to decorate the front and the back.
Unfortunately, I don't have any process photos for you.
We've had some dark and gloomy days here recently.
It can be tough to get good photos.

Here's January:

I began with a white cardstock memory dex card.
I added a piece of snowy looking paper.
I then cut the "January" out using my Cricut Explore Air.
It's such an intricate design.
It was easy to glue in place,
using the Best Glue Ever with the No-Clog Writing Cap.
Then I die-cut and embossed some snowflake swirl bits
to embellish my card.

Here's the back of the card.
I added the same paper, as well as my January calendar.
I also added more of the cut/embossed bits.

Using my finger, I dabbed some Best Glue Ever,
onto the raised portions of all of the cut/embossed bits.
After letting it dry for a little while,
I laid a sheet of the white/silver Transfer Foils over top.
I burnished it well with my finger before peeling it back.
It left such a lovely shimmery accent!
In this photo, you can also see the tiny little silver stars that I added.
I did this by leaving just a teeny tiny drop of glue.
The No-Clog Writing Cap allows you to do this.
Then I used the Embellie Gellie to pick up the tiny silver stars,
and place them on the dots of glue.

Here I nestled the shimmery corner pieces around the calendar,
and added some snowflakes.
Below is a close-up look at the foiled snowflakes.

This January Calendar card will the the first one on my Memory Dex.
Behind it I will add any other cards I do this month.
It would also be a good place to add a card
with important January dates to remember.
I seem to be needing those reminders more all the time! lol

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock,
Tim Holtz Paper Stash - Vintage Shabby;
Die: Creative Expressions - Festive Collection;

Snowy Santa Card

Hello, my friends!

Today I have a combination DT post.
I've combined products from Southern Ridge Trading Company,
with products from ScraPerfect,
to create a fun Snowy Santa card.

These products really are an ideal combination!

Here's my card:

Here's what I used:
(Oops...the chipboard snowflakes aren't in the photo)

I began with adding some Best Glue Ever to the front of the chipboard Santa and snowflakes.
I did this by dabbing it on with a make-up sponge.
Once the glue was tacky, I laid the red foil over the Santa,
and burnished it really well with my fingers.
I peeled back the foil and was left with this fabulous red Santa!
I repeated the process with the two chipboard snowflakes.
Here's a close-up look at the fine detail of the chipboard.

Using the fun die set,
I cut the card base out in a combination of white cardstock,
and some fabulous red foil polka dot paper.

I then used the Best Glue Ever, along with the No-Clog Writing Tip,
to adhere my chipboard pieces in place.

Here's what the card looks like closed.
Doesn't the foiled chipboard match the paper perfectly?

To finish off the inside of the card,
I added a strip of the polka dot paper,
a strip of pretty red glitter ribbon,
and a couple of silver foiled snowflakes.

ScraPerfect - December Calendar Page with Twistoon Image

Hello, my friends!

Today I'm back with a new project for ScraPerfect
I can't believe it's already time to share my December Calendar page!
Hasn't the year just flown by?

I've used several wonderful products from ScraPerfect
to put my page together.
I've also used a fabulous image from Twistoon!
It's called Christmas Tree Shopping
As soon as I saw him, I knew he had to be on my December page!

For the image, I used the print/cut feature on my Cricut.
Once I had coloured it with markers.
I set the image aside and went about creating a Winter scene for him.

As always, I used Best Glue Ever to put everything together.
I began with my 5 x 7 chipboard base,
and then added blue cardstock for the sky.
I cut curved pieces of white cardstock,
and then layered them in place to create my snow.

I added my colored image in place using some foam tape.

I then used my Best Glue Ever, along with the No-Clog Writing Cap,
to add tiny little dots of glue randomly on the blue sky.
Then I grabbed my Embellie Gellieand a bottle of tiny stars,
I used the Embellie Gellie to apply the tiny stars to the tiny glue drops.
I could not have done this so cleanly and easily without using
the Best Glue Ever, along with the No-Clog Writing Cap,

Close up you can see they are stars
but from a distance they look like lovely little snowflakes!

The only thing left to do was to adhere the calendar circle in place.

That's it for another year of Calendar Pages!
I've used this format for two years now,
so I might come up with something new for 2020!
