Relatively Thoughtful - Happy Easter Mini Album

    Hello, my friends!

I'm back with my final Design Team share for Relatively Thoughtful!

This week I have created a fun Easter mini album using the newly released
Happy Easter Collection!

I've put together a really sweet little mini album.
Perfect for adding some fun Easter photos and documentation.
I've used a distressing tool to distress all the paper edges.
Sally's papers are always ideal for distressing!

Here's the front cover:

The front and back cover are chipboard, and the inside pages are all pocket pages.

Aren't these bunnies adorable?
I fussy cut some of the pussy willows from the element sheet,

and added them to the cover along with two little ruffled ribbons.

I also added the "Happy Easter" with another ruffled ribbon.

On the first page, I fussy cut a pretty butterfly and placed it on top of the birdhouse.

The page on the right is a pocket page.
You can see the blue tag tab sticking out.

On the left I added some more fussy cut elements.
These create a tuck spot for the bright yellow tag.

The page on the right is another pocket page.
This time the tag is that same bright yellow.

On the left, I added a band to hold the pink tag.
On the right, some cute fussy cut eggs to hold some smaller journaling tags.
The right page is another pocket page.
This time there is a pink tag tab poking out.

Here's another band on the left to hold more tags.
On the right is a band with more fussy cut pussy willows,

and another adorable bunny.
The right side page is the chipboard back cover.

Here's a closer look at the sweet bunny!
Looks a lot like the one that comes to my yard every day.
Although my visitor is fatter and all white.

Below is the back of the back cover.

These papers are wonderful to work with!

They are ideal for Easter and Spring themed projects!
The colours are fresh and pretty...and very inspiring!

Relatively Thoughtful - Be My Valentine Tag!

    Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project share for Relatively Thoughtful!
Several months ago, Relative History partnered with Thoughtful Studio,
to become Relatively Thoughtful.
Occasionally, as a part of the Relatively Thoughtful DT,
I will have the privilege of sharing projects using Thoughtful Studio products.

This time I am featuring a wonderful printable collection from Thoughtful Studio.
It's called Affectionately Yours, Tessa.
You can find it HERE.

It's a lovely collection and it's ideal for Valentine projects. 

Here is what I made:

This is the front of the tag.
The text strip is the Shakespeare quote.
I used it to fussy cut a heart to fill the tag.

This is the back of the tag.
I added the lovely journaling card, along with a strip of paper used on the front.
I also added the first line of the Shakespeare quote that I used on the front.
Finally, I added a double looped ribbon bow to the top of the tag.
I placed this bow upside down so the tails would show on the front.

Here's a closer look at the wax seal I made.
I used the copper wax with just a touch of red added. 

Isn't that detail fabulous? 
I'm totally addicted to making these fun seals

Thinking of You Card

    Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project share for Relatively Thoughtful!

Sally had designed these lovely printable papers for a special even some time ago.
I just love the combination of colours and patterns she used!
They inspired me to create a pretty card, along with some handmade flowers.
Sally has generously given me these beautifully papers, as a PDF,
to offer as a gift to each one of you!
You will find a link to the papers at the end of this post.

In the meantime, here's my card:

Isn't that colour combination pretty? 

I just love the big polka dots, and the floral print is so lovely!

The circle die and the sentiment stamp are from my stash.

I created the dimensional flowers using a Graphic 45 die set.
I haven't done a flower tutorial for some time.

Monochrome/Masculine Slimline Christmas Card

 Hello again friends!

I know that I've been swamping you with posts lately.
Thanks so much for coming back time and again.
I'll soon be all caught up and back to my regular schedule.
This was actually an October project that I missed sharing here.

Today I'm sharing a fun monochrome/masculine Christmas card.
I've used the Slimline Essentials Die Set from Maker's Movement,
and the Reindeer Christmas Paper Collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

This is just the card for the men in your lives:

I used kraft cardstock for the base.
Then I chose several of the brown/tan papers that coordinated well.
I die-cut them, inked them, and layered them.

I die-cut the circle from the sentiment paper,

positioning it so that lots of my favorite words were included.

To finish it off I added a brown satin ribbon bow.

It's even a masculine bow, right? ;o)

This combination of products makes such a great Christmas card!
