Maker's Movement - Fun Shaker Tag

Hello, my friends!

I'm back today to share a fun project for Maker's Movement! 

First, I made a fun Christmas Shaker Tag.

Then I've got a few other Christmas gift tag ideas to share.

I used my wonderful Crossover II Machine for all my die-cutting on this project.

I've also used:

Nested Round Tags Die Set,

Be Merry Stamp Set,

Jingle Bells Shaker Sprinkles,

Clear Acetate Sheets,

Double-Sided Adhesive Craft Foam.

Here's my shaker tag:

Isn't that fun and festive?

It would make such a lovely gift tag.

It would even look pretty hanging on a tree,

with the lights shining through it.

Maker's Movememt has everything you need to put shaker elements together.

The Jingle Bell Sprinkles are so sweet.

I combined two of them in my tag.

The sentiment is from the Be Merry Stamp Set.

I cut it out with the banner die from the Mini File Folder Die Set.

Above is a closer look at the front,

and below is a closer look at the back.

To finish it off I added a ribbon through the hole at the top.

Here are some more fun Christmas gift tags, 

using the same stamps and dies. 

I cut the largest tag out of cardstock,

then cut layers from Christmas papers.

I added a little embellishment and ribbon to each tag.

The Be Merry Stamp Set is ideal for Christmas tags. 

It is loaded with 19 stamps;

a great combination of sentiments and icons!

I stamped on the back of each tag.

It was fun to match the stamping on the back

with the papers on the front - when I could.

These would be lots of fun to make with the kids.

You could make a pile of them for yourself, 

or make a batch of them to gift to a friend! :o)

Vilda Stamps - Frosty Fun!

   Hello, my friends!

It's my time to share a new project for Vilda Stamps!

Today I have made a card featuring the V618 Stamp.

You can find it in the shop HERE.

I've used this adorable stamp on a previous card,

and she actually has a tiny little butterfly on her nose.

We had a wonderful snow blizzard this past weekend,

and it inspired me to make a fun Winter themed card.

I simply covered the butterfly with a sparkly snowflake!

Here is my card:

I stamped, coloured, and fussy cut the image.

Then I created a fun frosty scene using the same colours.

I embossed the snowflake background, cut out a snow drift,

and added some pretty snowflakes.

Then I adhered the image using foam tape.

The photo below shows the dimension.

Finally, I went in and added the pretty rhinestone stickers.

One to the center of several of the embossed snowflakes,

and one on her nose!

Altair Art - Spring Blossoms Accordion Album

 Hello, my friends!

I'm back today with a new project share

 as Brand Ambassador for Altair Art Scrapbooking Papers.

Today I'm sharing another project using the gorgeous Spring Blossoms Collection.

My previous post using this collection was a really fun purse.

You can find that post HERE.

I have to tell you that these papers are fabulous to work with!

The designs are gorgeous but the quality is incredible.

I really love Altair Art papers!

This time I am sharing an accordion album

that I made to fit inside the purse.

It turns out that I used up all my light pink cardstock on the purse.

I picked another pink cardstock that matched the patterned paper,

and used it for the base of my album.

I also made a cardstock band to wrap around the album.

I added a pretty ribbon bow to it.

This serves two purposes:

it helps keep the album closed,

and it offers something to grab onto when pulling it out of the purse.

This collection includes so many beautiful elements,

and I really like fussy cutting them all out.

Aren't those papers gorgeous?

I used a ticket and flower for a tuck spot for the tag.

Here I simply added the butterflies.

This is the back of the album.

I think it would make a really pretty card.

The oval is another tuck spot, as it's adhered just along the bottom.

This is an accordion album,

so now we go back around the other way.

The left side is the pretty paper,

on the right side are more fussy cut elements.

On the left, I have formed a pocket and added an oval journal spot.

On the right, I have added a belly band.

In the photo below, I have moved the oval under the belly band.

Here youc an see the album tucked into the purse.

As you can see, there is room for a couple more! :o)

My Scrap Chick - Fall Policy Envelope Album

 Hello, my friends!

Today I have a fun new project share for My Scrap Chick!

I've made what I'm calling my Fall Policy Envelope Album.

I've done this by using pieces from these files:

Trifold card and Envelope,

Fall Acorn Card,

and Fall Sentiments Print and Cut.

Here's the cover:

When I recently made my Trifold Card and Envelope Set,

the envelope inspired me to make this project.

I enlarged the envelope,

and folded it up so the end was open instead of the top.

The "Fall" came from the Fall Acorn Card.

It's such a pretty script!

I made a total of five envelopes for my pages.

I bound them with my Bind-It-All.

I matted them on the front and back with decorative papers.

I punched circles, and added them with brads,

to form a flap closure.
 

My pages were decorated with the Fall Sentiments Print and Cut,

and the Tim Holtz Skeleton Leaf Die.

Each pocket is filled with a large tag.

I punched the corners with a leaf punch, and added a file tab.

The back of each is cream coloured, so it would be a great spot for journaling.

Lots of room for photos in this album too.

Maker's Movement - All Roads Lead You Home

 Hello, my friends!

I'm back today to share a fun project for Maker's Movement! 

As always, I used my Crossover II Fabric & Paper Cutting System 

for all my die-cutting on this project.

I've also used:

Welcome Home Stamp & Die Set,

Wish You Were Here Stamp Set,

and Borders Set Stamp Set.

I have used each of these stamp sets separately on other projects.

This time I have combined all three to make one card.

This was a fun one to make!

Here's my card:

I began by making an A2 tent-fold card base from black cardstock.

I added a turquoise cardstock mat to the card front.

I took the house outline dies from the Welcome Home Stamp and Die Set,

positioned them on the card front,

and ran them through my Crossover II Machine.

Then using black ink, I stamped the map from the Wish You Were Here Stamp set

onto a piece of white cardstock.

I adhered it in place behind the house opening,

 

I then stamped the sentiment from the Wish You Were Here Stamp Set,

along the bottom of the card using black ink.

I also stamped the geo tag onto the map, using turquoise ink.

Then I used the stitching line from the Borders Set Stamp Set,

to outline the house.

Finally, I added a multi-looped bow to the top of the card.

Meg's Garden - Ephemera Folder

  Hello, my friends!

Today I have a new project share for Meg's Garden!
I'm using one of Meg's newest kits, and it's loaded with beautiful pieces.

My project features:

A Walk in Nature Papers,

and A Walk in Nature Cut & Create.

As many of you know, I love to work with printable files,
and have been using various printable kits for a number of years. 

I usually let the product inspire the project.
 I like to print everything out,
and then fussy cut all the ephemera.
These kits are so loaded that I end up with lots of pages and pieces.

This leads me to today's project.
I have created a fun Ephemera Folder using the A Walk in Nature Collection.

Here's the front of it:

I began by chosing two of the journal pages that displayed the theme of the collection.

This will help me remember which kit it is.

I made my folder base from kraft cardstock.

I distressed all the edges of the journal pages,

and adhered one to the front of the folder,

and one to the back of the folder.

I added a piece of seam binding for a tie closure.

Below is a photo of the back side.
Aren't the papers fabulous?

Here's the folder when it's opened.

Isn't that a lovely display of ephemera?

I added kraft cardstock pockets to my folder.

The pockets were decorated with more paper from the collection.

Then I filled them with journals cards, photos,

and all the fussy cut bits.

I had so much fun putting this folder together!

I think it will be a great way to keep everything together.

I think I might start making them for each printable kit I work with.

It would be fun to see them all lined up on my shelf!

Simply Crafty SVGs - Hot Cocoa Bar

 Hello, my friends!

Welcome to a new project share for Simply Crafty SVGs!

This month I'm sharing a really fun 3D gift box!

This is just great for the upcoming season.

I've used:

Hot Cocoa Bar SVG File

The shop sample has been made in a Christmas theme.

To switch things up, I made mine in a Winter theme.

Either way - it's a fabulous file.

Here's mine:

Isn't that cute?

When I was a little girl, I always loved this kind of thing for my Dawn dolls.

Does anyone else remember Dawn dolls?

Never mind a store, all they would need is this Hot Cocoa Bar! lol

I used some fun frosty papers to make my box.

Although it doesn't show in the photo, all the snowflakes have glitter treatment.

To finish it off I added a few snowflakes punched out of glitter paper.

Here you can see the back of the box.

What's this in the photo below?

Do I actually have something in my box?

After sharing so MANY empty boxes, I thought I would switch things up! lol

Here you can see my last package of my favorite After Eight hot chocolate.

It fits perfectly!

Wouldn't that make a fun gift? 

It holds quite a few hot chocolate packets.

Or you could fill it with a number of other treats.

You could even switch things up and make it into a coffee bar,

then fill it with some coffee beans!

So many fun ways to use this one!
