Winter Tales Mini Album for White Rose Crafts - Part 2

   Happy Tuesday, my friends!

Today I'm sharing Part 2 of my Winter Tales Mini Mini Album for White Rose Crafts LLC.  

If you missed Part 1 then you will find it HERE.

I've used the Winter Tales Collection from Stamperia.
My little album measures only 2 1/2" x 4".
 The photos inside were taken on a recent river walk in our new location.

Here are the next pages:

The left page is one of my photos.
It's been embellished with some tiny fussy cut flowers.
The right page is another beautiful journal card from the collection.

On the left is a pocket that holds a couple of tags.
I thought the photo on the right matched the tag beautifully.

I added a fussy cut label above the photo.

The pocket page holds another matching photo.

On the left I added the beautiful fussy cut lady.
I adhered her in place as a tuck spot for some more pretty tags.
On the right is another winter scene photo,

with more fussy cut embellishements.

I had to save that adorable bird for last! :o)

This collection has been such a joy to work with!
It's absolutely ideal for any Winter projects!

Winter Tales Mini Mini Album for White Rose Crafts - Part 1

  Happy Tuesday, my friends!

Today I'm sharing another project for White Rose Crafts LLC.  

I have created a mini mini album, again featuring the
Winter Tales Collection from Stamperia!
I will share half of the album this week,
and then I'll be back next Tuesday with the second half.

This was such a fun little project to put together. 
It actually measures only 2 1/2" x 4".
I have filled it with photos taken on a recent walk.
I still can't believe we now live so close to such fabulous river trails!

This beautiful collection is ideal for documenting Winter in Saskatchewan!

Here's my little album:

The size of my album was determined by the sweet journal cards

that are included in the collection pack.

The base of my album is made of navy cardstock.
Each album page is a pocket;

some are top loading and some are side loading.

I fussy cut the "Winter Tales" title from the element page,

and used foam tape to adhere it to the cover.
I also inked the edges to make it stand out a bit more.

On the left is another one of the beautiful journal cards.
On the right is the first photo. 
I've tool distressed all the edges - I think it looks frostier that way! ;o)

Here is another photo/journal card combination.
I couldn't believe how the land lines matched up,

and just continue from the photo right across the journaling card.

All of the tabs you see are for the tags that are inserted in the pockets.
Some have photos, and some have journaling.
We often have the pleasure of seeing deer when we go for a walk.

Below is the last page for today. 
Since the photo is slightly shorter than the journal card,
I fussy cut some border elements to fill in the gaps.

Bird Lady Tag for White Rose Crafts

 Hello, my friends!

Today I'm sharing a fun new project for White Rose Crafts LLC. 

I have a Winter scene tag, featuring a paper from
Winter Tales Collection from Stamperia,
along with a really sweet stamp called Emma!

I just love making fun Winter projects!

Here's my tag:

Isn't that background paper beautiful? 
It looks just like my view along the river trails.

My tag has a chipboard base.
I covered it, front and back, with papers,

and then inked all the edges.

Here's the back of the tag.

It's covered with cardstock, along with some elements from the Winter Tales Collection.

The heart kind of turns this into a Valentine, right? 

I stamped/coloured Emma, and then fussy cut her out.
She was holding something else in her hand.
(you'll see that in a future post)
I cut that item off, and added a sweet little fussy cut bird in it's place.
I then adhered her into the scene with foam tape.
I added more fussy cut birds:
one on her hat and one on a branch.

To finish everything off, I added glossy accents to all the birds,

and a shimmer marker to all the snow.

That beautiful glittery shine on the snow looks just like the snow I see every day!

Let It Snow Card for Maker's Movement

  Hello, my friends!

I'm back today to share a fun project for Maker's Movement! 

I used my wonderful Crossover II Machine for all my die-cutting on this project.

I've also used:

Oh What Fun Stamp Set;

Oh What Fun Die Set;

Snowflake Kisses Stamp and Die Set;

Christmas Doodles 6 x 6 Paper Pack.

This is such a fun combination of products to play with!

Here's my card:

Isn't that fun? A teddy bear making a snow angel!
We often see wonderful snow angels along our walking path.
They always make me smile! :o)

The Oh What Fun stamp and die set include three sweet characters,

along with the dies to cut them out,

and the snow angel shape to fit behind them.

They would work for some really cut shaker cards too

but my shaker elements are still all packed up. 

I then added the Let It Snow and banner from the Snowflake Kisses set.
It's such a lovely and intricate font. 

They all work beautifully when made from this fun Christmas Doodle paper.

The bear and banner were both adhered in place with foam tape.

Maker's Movement - Winter Scene Card

 Hello, my friends!

It's time for a fun new project for Maker's Movement! 

I used my wonderful Crossover II Machine for all my die-cutting on this project.

I've also used:

Woodland Friends Stamp Set;

Woodland Friends Die Set;

Shaker Ornament Die Set;

Christmas Doodles 6 x 6 Paper Pack;

and Great Outdoors Die Set.

Here's my card:

I just LOVED putting this one together!
So much fun!
...or should I say "SNOW" much fun! ;o)

The main scene has been created with the Great Outdoors Die Set,
along with some of the Christmas Doodles papers.
Then I added more sweet little trees, along with the snowflakes,

from the Shaker Ornament Die Set.

The front panel was added using foam tape.

I stamped the cute little critters out, and colored them with my markers.
I added them into the scene

I then added this sweet sentiment, and a few bits,

to the inside of the card.
Finally, I added a little snowflake bling to the center of each snowflake.

These products combined make a really fabulous Winter scene!
With just a few changes to the papers, 

these same products could be used to create a scene card for any season.

Scrappy Tails Crafts - Warm Winter Wishes Card

Hello, my friends!

Today I'm back with a new project for Scrappy Tails Crafts! 

This is my first share using products from the fabulous October release!
Such a great release...again!

It's very appropriate for me to be writing this post today
because we're enjoying our first snowfall of the season. 

I send you all Warm Winter Wishes!

Here's my card:

Isn't that a wonderful Winter scene?
It was so much fun to put together,

using the  Winter Snow Trees Metal Craft Die.

I began with my background paper,
and then I cut my trees in coordinating colors. 

The lamp post is so charming!
Many of you know that I've been crafting on the road for the past two months
and working with what I have.
Can you believe I had no yellow or gold cardstock?
I actually used a yellow post it note for the light.

The lovely sentiment came from the Winter Essentials Metal Craft Dies set.

I cut it once from white cardstock, and then a second time from black.
I offset them slightly before adhering them in place.
This creates a very nice shadow, which adds more dimension.
Isn't it a lovely script?

These die sets are both so great for all your Winter/Christmas projects!
They make fabulous stand alone cards,
or they can be wonderful additions to your backgrounds.

Maker's Movement - Frosty Fun Shaker Card

 Hello, my friends!

I'm back today to share a really fun project for Maker's Movement! 

I used my wonderful Crossover II Machine for all my die-cutting on this project.

I've also used:

Great Outdoors Die Set,

Christmas is Best With You Stamp Set,

Christmas is Best With You Die Set,

Jingle Bell Shaker Sprinkles,

Clear Acetate Sheets,

and Double-sided Adhesive Craft Foam.

I've used all these products to make a "cool" shaker card! ;o)

Here's my card:

The cardstock I used has a beautiful pearly finish on it - just like snow.

I couldn't get it to show in the photos 

because I was making sure there was no glare on the acetate.

After creating the fun Winter scene,

I stamped and die-cut one cute snowman from the Christmas is Best With You stamp set.

I paper pieced his scarf and hat from cardstock to match the background.

Finally, I added some Enamel Accents to add the fluffy fur to his hat.

To fill my shaker, I used the snowflakes from the Jingle Bell Shaker Srinkles.

I added just a pinch of fake snow to the mix.

For my final photo I gave it a good shake,

so you can see the full effect! :o)

This was LOTS of fun to put together!

Vilda Stamps - Frosty Fun!

   Hello, my friends!

It's my time to share a new project for Vilda Stamps!

Today I have made a card featuring the V618 Stamp.

You can find it in the shop HERE.

I've used this adorable stamp on a previous card,

and she actually has a tiny little butterfly on her nose.

We had a wonderful snow blizzard this past weekend,

and it inspired me to make a fun Winter themed card.

I simply covered the butterfly with a sparkly snowflake!

Here is my card:

I stamped, coloured, and fussy cut the image.

Then I created a fun frosty scene using the same colours.

I embossed the snowflake background, cut out a snow drift,

and added some pretty snowflakes.

Then I adhered the image using foam tape.

The photo below shows the dimension.

Finally, I went in and added the pretty rhinestone stickers.

One to the center of several of the embossed snowflakes,

and one on her nose!

Ephemoire - Winter Bird Cards

Hello, friends!

Today I have a fun new project for Ephemoire!

I am featuring two of my favorite items from the shop:

Winter Birds, 

and

Wood Texture Sampler.

These bird images are so beautiful!
There are LOTS of ways to get creative with these images and papers!
I confess that the Wood Texture paper collection 
has probably moved to the top of my favorites list! 
There are so many ways to use all the beautiful colors!

Here's what I made:

For all of the cards, I chose a wood background color that worked with the bird image.

I cut them to fit a white or kraft cardstock card base, 

distressed the edges, and adhered them in place.

For the first two cards, I die-cut a white cardstock wreath.

I then die-cu the bird image to fit inside the wreath.

I adhered them to the front of the card, leaving some leaves free.

I then curled up the leaves to give some added dimension.

Don't they look suitably frosty?

For the second two cards, I die-cut the wreaths from kraft cardstock.

Instead of die-cutting the image, I trimmed it town, 

and used a corner chomper on the corners.

I then adhered it to the card base at an angle

before adhering the wreath in place, on top of it.

Finally, I added some Stickles to the curled leaves.

I think these cards are great for so many different occasions!

I hope you make some of your own!

Southern Ridge Trading Company - Winter Album Cover

Hello, my friends!

I have a fun new post for Southern Ridge Trading Company!

I hope you've all been enjoying a wonderful Christmas Season!
 We've been enjoying beautiful frosty days!
The temperatures have been very mild,
with blue skies and incredible hoar frost!

That was the inspiration for my project today.
I've used some fabulous chipboard pieces
to decorate the front cover of an 8 x 8 album.

I began by pouncing some Picket Fence paint around the edges of the album.

Just enough to give it a frosty appearance.

Then I added the paper that looks like falling snow. 

I fussy cut some swirls out of a coordinating paper, 

and added them to the bottom of the page.

I thought they made fabulous snow drifts!

I inked two of the fun silhouette pieces from the Winter Kids set.

I think I have always done my silhouettes in black

but this time I did dark blue to work with the papers.

Then I adhered them in place on the swirls/snow drifts.

For the title on my page I used the Winter from the Winter Words piece.
I inked just the word part, and then adhered it in place on the album cover.
Once it was in place, 
I used white Crystal Drops to color the little snowflake,
as well as the snowy part.

In the photo below, you can see the great glossy finish on the snowy part.

Finally, I added three snowflakes, from the Snowflake set. 

I actually adhered them in place first,

and then covered them with the white Crystal Drops.

This was so much fun to make!

I can't wait to start filling it up!
