Easter Fun with a Carrot Box - Combining Rinea Foiled Paper with My Scrap Chick

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project share, combining two of my favorite things:

Rinea Foiled Papers and a cut file from My Scrap Chick!
You've seen me combine them before,
and I must say that they work beautifully together!

From Rinea I have used:

Marigold/Marigold Starstruck Foiled Paper, and

Emerald/Emerald Starstruck Foiled Paper.

From My Scrap Chick I have used:

Carrot Box Cut File.

Here's what I have made for you today:

This fun box stands almost 14" tall.
The box base is made from orange cardstock.
The panels were all cut from the Marigold Starstruck Foiled Paper.

The lid removes to hide a lot of Easter goodies.
Unfortunately, I didn't have any on hand for the photo.

The carrot greens are all cut from the Emerald Starstruck Foiled Paper.
I added the last scrap of my favorite orange/green ribbon to the base.

The file includes this sweet layered tag with a heart.
I tied it on with a piece of green embroidery floss.

This was such a fun one to create!
Now I just need to track down a bunny to put beside it! :o)

Other Materials Used:
 Recollections - Cardstock;
DMC Embroidery Floss;
Unknown Ribbon.

From Rinea I have used:

Marigold/Marigold Starstruck Foiled Paper, and

Emerald/Emerald Starstruck Foiled Paper.

From My Scrap Chick I have used:

My Scrap Chick - Easter Chick Card

Hello, my friends!

Welcome to a new DT post for My Scrap Chick!

Today I am sharing a fun Easter project featuring the following files:

Cloud Layers

Easter Chicks Bundle

* * * * *
For my card I used one of the cuts from the Easter Chicks Bundle,
along with the printable version of the Clouds Layer.
This one is so much fun!

First, lets talk about the fabulous background.
The file comes in several color and size options.
It's a "must have" file in my opinion!
Perfect background for all our digis and cuts, when we don't have time to ink our own.
It's also available in a cut version, which would be lots of fun!

Moving on to the sweet Chick cut...it's adorable, right?
This is just one of the six complete cut sets in this bundle.
You really have to click on the link to check out all that's included!
They are so much fun to put together!

I simply added my Chick onto the Cloud background,
that had been adhered to a green card base.
Then I simply added a punched grass border along the bottom.
Super simple and cute as can be! :o)

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Punch: Fiskars - Grass Border;
Machine: Cricut Explore Air.

Arnold Grummer - Handmade Paper Butterfly Tag

Hello, my friends!

I have a new project to share with you for Arnold Grummer.

You'll find a full tutorial and product list at the
Arnold Grummer Blog HERE.

Last time I shared some paper I made using sewing patterns.
Today, I'm sharing more handmade sewing pattern paper
but with a twist.
To this paper I added some of the gorgeous Gold Dust
from the Arnold Grummer Store.
I also used a template to create the shape of the paper.
It's the Invitation & Thank You Card Medium Template.
However, if you don't fold it, doesn't it make a great tag?

Here's my project:

For the full tutorial on how I put this tag together,
head over to the Arnold Grummer blog HERE.

Clear Scraps - Wood Heart Scripture Journal

Hello, my friends!

Today I am posting my final project for Clear Scraps!
I made the difficult decision to step down from the DT.
It's been a fabulous year of working with great product,
and really great people!

For my final project I am featuring the

Hearts 6 x 8 Wood Album, and the
It's the perfect combination for a Scripture Journal:

First, I used Lavender Pickling Gel to color the Journal.
I love to use these gels on wood.
They add color but allow all the wood grain to show through.

Next, I went in and stenciled the design using
Prima Art Alchemy Sparks Paint in Iris Potion.

I stenciled the entire design,
then I re-positioned it to fill up the rest of the space.
I filled it with lavender paper, and laced it up with matching ribbon.

I lined the front cover with a piece of matching cardstock.
It really makes the hearts stand out.
Here's a closer look at the shimmer of the Sparks paint.

Here's a final look at my Scripture Journal.
I'm sure it will be a JOY to fill,
since it's such a JOY to look at! :o)

Simply Crafty SVGs - Box Card Series - Part 4

Hello, my friends!

Welcome to a new project share for Simply Crafty SVGs!
This is Part 4 of my Box Card Series.
You'll find Part 1 HERE,
and Part 2 HERE,
and Part 3 HERE.

Easter is right around the corner,
and this Easter Egg Hunt Box Card is so much fun!

Here it is:

I put this all together using play cardstock,
and one piece of decorative paper.

There are so many fun things that could be done to fancy this up,
but it's so cute done plain and simple too!

The only thing I added to the cut file is the pearl,
and the stamped sentiment.

I did add an extra cut of the grass
because I wanted to to be a little bit fuller.

This would be a really fun one to make with kids!
You could get them busy decorating the eggs however they want,
and then put it all together.
Or make an elegant version using glitter and embossing!
It's lots of fun no matter which way you go! :o)

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Stamp: Sparkle N Sprinkle - Easter Parade Stamp Set;
Unknown Pearl.

So head on over to the shop and pick up these files:

Sparkle N Sprinkle - Happy Easter Parade!

Hello, my friends!

It's Friday, so it's time for a new post for Sparkle N Sprinkle!

This week we are featuring the Easter Parade Stamp Set.
This is such a fun stamp set to play with!

Here is my card:

Products Used from Sparkle N Sprinkle:

Stamps:

Embossing Powders:

Flocking:

Inks:

Adhesives:

Embellishments:

Tools/Dies:

I stamped out the sweet little image, and colored it with my markers.
I then used the brushable glue to add the Canary Flocking.

I stamped all three of the egg images multiple times, using the embossing ink.
I then heat embossed in: Beach Cruiser, Petal Pink, and Wisteria.

I had die-cut the image. I then die-cut a purple cardstock to mat it.
I cut a piece of green cardstock 7"x 6", and scored down the center of the 6" at 3".
I then ran some green cardstock through the Tim Holtz Tapered Fringe Die.
I used both sides of the cut.

The fringe strips were adhered along the rectangle piece.
Then the matted image piece was adhered to the center,
behind the front grass.

The flocking is so lovely and soft.
I went in and added matching Jewel Drops.

I stamped the sentiment, die-cut it, and then matted it.

All the eggs were nestled in among the grass.

Finally, I added a matching bow to the top of the card.

I'll be back next week with another Sparkle N Sprinkle project!
In the meantime, head over to the store and check it out!
You can take my code with you...it's: NancyDT10
