Rinea - Cupcake Card

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new Rinea project share, using Rinea Foiled Paper!

Today I am using the very pretty
Princess Foiled Paper Variety Pack.

Here is the card I made:

I used an old Sizzix die to create this fun pocket cupcake card.
It cuts the cupcake, the pocket, and the candle.
Then I used another die to add the "Happy Birthday".

I cut the following:
Cupcake - Starstruck Blush Pink Foil,
Pocket - Starstruck Silver,
Candle - Glossy Lavender Light Purple/Gold,
Candle Flame - Glossy Gold,
Happy Birthday - Glossy Silver/Gold.
All five of these colors are found in the Princess Foiled Paper Variety Pack.

Then I cut one more Cupcake from pink cardstock.
I adhered it to the back of the Foil cupcake,
sandwiching the candle between the two.
The cardstock offers a place to write/stamp a message.

The base of the candle is nicely hidden,
and it looks pretty from both sides.

Put together this way, and in these colors,
it would be the perfect Birthday card for a little Princess.

If you removed the "Happy Birthday", and even the candle,
you could turn this into a lovely Princess Party invitation!

Oh...you could use the Mocha/Mocha Starstruck Foiled Paper,
and turn it into a chocolate cupcake!
So many creative possibilities!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Dies: Sizzix Bigz XL - Card and Pocket, Cupcake,
Impression Obsession - Happy Birthday.

Ephemoire - Did Someone Say Bees?

Hello, my friends!

Before we begin...for some reason this post has a mind of it's own! lol
NONE of the crazy spaces show up in my editing.
I have redone it numerous times...to no avail!
It's just going to look the way it wants to today
...all wide and open like it does...
maybe it will be normal later! ;o)
I just wanted you to be aware that I'm aware that it's weird!

* * * * *

Welcome to my first project post for Ephemoire!

If you're not familiar with Ephemoire yet, let me introduce you.
It's a wonderful shop full of fantastic printables, collage sheets, clipart, and journal kits!

Here's what I made using the fabulous:
I just love a set like this because it gives you so many creative options.
The photo below shows the back of the pocket.
Here is the card and pocket:

I've added some of the fun elements to the inside of the card,
leaving lots of room to write a message.
I used every single little bit of the kit,
and added only a black brad, and a couple of black cardstock circles.
Everything else is in the kit.
Here's a closer look at the front of the card:

Everything has been inked up.
I tore the ticket strip in half, layered one on top of the other,
and stapled them in place.

I added one of the tabs and a bee circle to the front of the pocket:

The other tab, and the little sentiment, went on the back:

Here's a closer look at the great time piece, and sentiment,
that I added to the inside of the card:

I left the back of the card plain,
except for the bee circle:

Here's one last look at the finished project:

This is such a great little kit to use!
It can be used as I've shown...a card in a pocket
...or the pocket can be adhered to a page in an album,
to create a wonderful insert.
Or the pocket can become a page itself.
Simply punch holes on one side to insert the rings.
It's so much fun!

You'll find the kit right here:

While you're there,
make sure you take a look at what else is in the shop!
There's a whole collection of goodies that coordinate with this kit!
I think I'm going to need them all!

Sparkle N Sprinkle - Cruisin' Off...Into Retirement...

Hello, my friends!

This is a bittersweet post for me! :o(
By now you have probably heard the sad news...
Sparkle N Sprinkle is closing it's doors at the end of the month.
It's sad news for us but I'm excited for what is ahead
for Margaret with her retirement!
I'm very happy to have been a part of the DT for the past several months!
It's truly been a pleasure!

So today I have one final card to share with you.
This is featuring the New Cruisin' Stamp Set from the May Release.

Products Used from Sparkle N Sprinkle:

Stamps:

Embossing Powders:

Ink:

Adhesives:

Tools/Dies:

Other Materials:
Spectrum Noir Markers,
White, Turquoise, Red Cardstock.

I began by heat embossing the fabulous car image,
with the Black Detail Embossing Powder.
I colored the car image but a car like this needs chrome, right?
So I went in and heat embossed some details,
using the Silver Detail Embossing Powder.
I then fussy cut the car image out.

I stamped the map, from the Travel Mixed Media Set,
onto the turquoise cardstock.
I matted it with red cardstock and adhered it to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock,
and matted it with red cardstock.

The car and sentiment were added to the card base with foam tape.

Well...there you have it...my final DT post!

Now head on over to the shop
and get in on some of the fabulous close out deals!

Also, make sure you follow the blogs of the very talented DT!
They'll continue to inspire you with all their fabulous work!

Arnold Grummer - Handmade Paper Happy Birthday Card

Hello, my friends!

Happy Wednesday to you!
I'm back with a fun new handmade paper project for Arnold Grummer!
I'm also up on the Arnold Grummer Blog today!

I'm using what might be the last of the pretty mauve paper from my blizzard day stash!
You can read the post about making this paper HERE.

This is the Happy Birthday gift card and envelope I have for you today:

Supplies Used:

(Generously provided by Stampendous)

Ink: Stampin Up - Rich Razzleberry

Ribbon: Celebrate It.

I used the template, and followed the instructions, to make this sweet handmade paper set.

To the front of the envelope, I added a little ribbon tie.
I also stamped the "On Your Birthday". The envelope is only about 3" square.

The little card measures 2 1/2" square. Isn't it adorable?
I die-cut the bottom edge of the front of the card, using one of the Spring Border Dies.
Then I did some more stamping to the inside of the card.

It's the perfect little set to include with a gift.
Wouldn't it be lovely tucked under the bow of a wedding gift?
The handmade paper makes it so special,
and the sparkles make it so magical!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I'll be back soon with another handmade paper project!

Oh, you'll want to check out the resource page over at the website.
You can watch Arnold Grummer himself demonstrate how to make paper!

A Combination Card - Infinity Engraving and ScraPerfect

Hello, my friends!

It's time for another post for ScraPerfect,
and I'm combining it with my first project share for Infinity Engraving.
These products worked beautifully together to create my card!

Here's the card I made:

Here's how I did it:

I began with this beautiful, intricate chipboard piece.
It's the Butterfly Swirl from Infinity engraving.
I patted it with The Perfect Crafting Pouch
Then I used the VersaMarker on all of the vine pieces that I wanted green.
I sprinkled with green embossing powder, and heat embossed.
I then applied an even thin coat of Best Glue Ever, to each of the butterflies.
I sprinkled it with the purple glitter, and let dry.
Once it was completely dry, I brushed the extra glitter away with my glitter brush.
Then I used the Perfect Cleaning Cloth to clean up all the extra glitter.

Isn't the finished chipboard pretty?
It's such a delicate and beautiful piece!

Then I cut an A2 size dark purple cardstock background,
and a light purple cardstock dotted oval.
These were layered on a white cardstock card base.

I added dots of the Best Glue Ever to the back of the intricate chipboard piece,
and adhered it in place on the light purple oval.

I then got out some green and purple sequins, and grabbed the Embellie Gellie
After adding little dots of the Best Glue Ever to the background of my card,
I simply had to use the handy little stick to pick up my sequins...and pop them right in place,
as shown in the photo below.

Finally, I added a pretty double-looped bow, and my card was finished.

As you can see,
the products from these two shops worked beautifully together,
in helping me create this card!

I'll be back with more shares from both shops very soon!
